Summer Slam Predictions Night 1 and Night 2

ANDDDDDDDD I'm back after a small break, but however.. my little website revamp didn't happen as well as I thought it would. I did (FINALLY) change my name to Chels Wrestling on here.. as it is on my twitter. We've got ALOT to talk about, so let's get into it! -TONIGHT is the FINAL Smackdown before the 2 night Summer Slam and I fully expect this to be pretty good overall. The question is... how many titles will be really changing?? I FULLY expect Naomi and The Wyatts to retain.. but what about everyone else? Hmm.. they are saying that this is the "Wrestlemania of the Summer"...  I'll be LIVE tweeting as best as possible tonight, so stay tuned! Let's get into the predictions.. Let me also remind you that this is my personal opinion AND what I am hoping for... it's okay to disagree, friends. -NIGHT 1 -CM Punk vs Gunther (c) I feel like this match wasn't really hyped up, and that it was just put together. There is no other story than Punk winning...

WWE Bash In Berlin (Aug 31st) Rundown

WOAH! What a freakin PLE! I wasn't really sure what to expect when coming into this, but boy was I impressed with this. We have a lot to unpack, so let's get into it!

-I didn't watch this in real time, and did my best to avoid anything until last night.

-Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs Kevin Owens

I don't know what I expected this with. I know Cody wouldn't drop the title, but this build up to the match was very interesting to say the least. I would say this match was pretty damn good considering there wasn't really a start up feud. It was just kinda Cody's choice in the start. I was a little worried coming out of Smackdown on Friday with KO saying Cody was "hurt". That came to a head when Cody appeared to have hurt his knee. Take that with what you will on that. In the end, Cody got the win after a hell of a battle.. inside and outside the ring. I was FULLY expecting KO to turn on Cody afterwards, but that wasn't the case. This does have me wondering if Cody will turn on Kevin in a shocking turn of events. It's WAY to obvious for KO to turn.

-Women's Tag Team Championship Match: The Unholy Union vs Jade Cargill Bianca Belair

I am so torn with this. The Unholy Union have had a pretty okay run thus far. I do feel that the longer their run.. the better they got. However, I can understand this change of hand. I love Jade/Belair as a tag team.. even tho sometimes I can get frustrated with creative. I thought this match was pretty good for these two. All women seem to work very well together and I really hope that we see The Unholy Union in the mix again soon. In the end, we saw Jade/Belair become NEW tag team champs once again! I'll be pretty excited to see who they face next on this run.

-Strap Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

Who else has been HYPE for this? And... is this the first time they have used the light system for this kind of match? It's safe to say these two beat the shit out of each other in this. I loved it! I love both of these men, and have been enjoying this feud more than I should. After a hell of a fight, it was Punk that got the upper hand.. and after multiple GTS it was time for the win. CM Punk was the first one to hit all 4 corners and got the victory. Also.. can we please talk about Drew selling those GTS? Because OMG, yes. Do I see one more match in this? HELL YES, and please be a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood.

Mixed Tag Team Match: Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest vs. Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio

This match was beautiful in every single way. I loved the story telling leading up, and of course the interruptions kept telling the story. All 4 can work very well together, and I feel this feud is something that will be remembered for a while. Will it keep going, OH YES! We saw Rhea lock in the head-scissors Dom, which was a throw back to the first time.. before they got Dom to join the Judgement Day.. that pop was great! I can expect a match or two within this group/feud at Bad Blood.. but who? Rhea and Liv? Damian and Finn? In the end, it was The Terror Twins that picked up the victory! Hell yeah!

-World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton vs. Gunther

Once again, I didn't know what to expect with this match. Apart of me REALLY wanted Randy to win this, but I can understand that Gunther does need more time as champ seeing his previous run. Also, someone pointed out that since Gunther has been in WWE.. 70% of the time, he has been champ. That is crazy! This match DELIVERED! Both men work AMAZING together and they put their heart and soul into this. This performance was like no other, and I hope everyone took notice to it. I was BLOWN AWAY. This really proved that Gunther HAS IT and I hope this is just the beginning for him. Overall, we saw Gunther win, as Randy passed out. Didn't expect that way to win, but.. I can get it.

Overall: 9.2/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tomorrow night we have the fall out from Bash In Berlin:

-Will Uncle Howdy/Chad Gable continue or will there be a new story-line?
-How will The Judgement Day react to their loss?
-Who will challenge Gunther next?
-How will Drew react to losing to Punk?
-Will there be a new feud for Jade/Belair?

So much going on this week as we lead up to AEW's All Out on Saturday! Let's go!

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
