WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown/Review

It just dawned on me that I never did my Smackdown Rundown... and I am so upset. Let's just say it was a busy and full weekend for me. Regardless, this week for wrestling is going to be HUGE.. so bare with me, as it will be ALOT! I think I will have a blog every single day from Saturday-Tuesday... I might even have two in one day. Saturday is TWO PPVs.. in Wrestlepalooza and AEW All Out.... I WILL be watching AEW first and LIVE so you can expect the tweets. I am unsure about watching Wrestlepalooza in real time due to AEW but I will be tweeting as best as possible when I do watch it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking off: John Cena We had a pretty dang good promo with Cena and talking about Brock... A good bit of this confused me.. seeing that Brock has only been on Smackdown and not Raw leading up to their match on Saturday. I wish there was a little more. With this.. this makes me believe the match itself isn't going to end clean and will m...

Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!

Night 1:

-Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw).

-Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles

This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story right!

-Karrion Kross vs. Sami Zayn

The match was good, but a bit lack luster if you ask me. I expected more I guess.. I don't know. In the end.. we did see Sami (once again) pick up the win. Does this mean Karrion is gone now? As of today (Tuesday Aug 5th) a new contract hasn't been signed.. their contract expires this weekend, apparently.

-Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill

Once again, this match was much better than I thought it would be. Both women put on a hell of a show.. and I enjoyed it very much. I thought they might pull a hell of a shocker and put the title on Jade.. but thankfully they did not.. and Tiffy was able to retain. Now hear me out.. I LOVE Jade, she is wonderful. I just don't think she is ready for the title just yet. Give her a little more time, and she will be unstoppable and undeniable.

-Jelly Roll and Randy Orton vs. Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre

Now this was pretty good. I fully expected this to be a bull crap match... but I was wrong. Jelly did amazing, and he took some pretty crazy spots as well! However.. in the end.. I didn't expect Logan and Drew to pick up the win. Does this mean we will see more of Jelly in the near future?

-Gunther (c) vs. CM Punk

This match was insane from start to finish, and the whole time.. my emotions were buck wild. I feel they kind of gave it away as Gunther pretty much beating the hell out of Punk the entire time. It wasn't until the table spot and Gunther was busted open.. that Punk got the upper hand. In a SHOCKING turn of events.. Punk WON! In which I lost my shit. What REALLY got me.. was the ending. Seth Rollins came out with Heyman.. and the MITB. Seth was on crutches.. yelling and screaming. But as Seth walked away.. he threw his crutches, took off his jacket.. and ran to the ring to cash in. He beat the living snot out of Punk with the briefcase.. and cashed in...AND WON! Talk about a SHOCKING moment. He worked everyone! What a PERFECT way to end Night 1!

Overall: 8.9/10

Night 2:

-Women's World Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky vs. Naomi (c)

The match was good overall. But I feel like it was a dead give away.. seeing that Naomi only won the title a few weeks ago at SNME. I will point out that we did see Rhea get pinned, which I thought bought her a little more time from having a feud with Naomi. It seems we are going in another direction? Could we see the draft coming with Mami going to Smackdown instead? Also.. yes... Naomi did retain.

-Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for WWE Tag Team Championship

Anytime there is a ladder match.. of any kind, I get nervous. But this match was pretty damn good overall. My nerves were SHOT at this point.. but these men (and women) delivered the entire match. We saw Candice get involved and take ONE HELL of a fall into a ladder. We also saw Nikki and B Fab get involved. Howdy and Big Red came to the ring to raise more hell and help.. in which we saw Howdy take a big bump into a ladder. Very scary seeing he just came back from a 6 month injury... regardless, we did see The Wyatt Sicks RETAIN.. now this just goes back to.. what are they going to do next? At the post show.. we saw some very questionable interviews with Street Profits and DIY. Hmm..

-No DQ Match for Women's Intercontinental Championship: Becky (c) vs Lyra

Didn't like it. I'm sorry.. I love both of these women, but this match just wasn't it for me. I felt it went way too far and the story has gone on for far too long at this point. We did see Bayley come in to fight Becky some.. but ended up costing Lyra the match.. allowing Becky to retain. Now.. it seems Lyra can't go for the IC title, as long as Becky as it.

-Steel Cage Match for United States Championship: Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa

Another match that I just didn't care for. Both men are great, don't get me wrong.. but I just don't see this going anywhere. It was good at first, but the more it goes on.. the more we know the end game. It seems it's just going to keep adding people until you have family vs family. We did see Solo's MFT get involved as well as Jimmy. But.. it was Solo that picked up the win to retain.

-Intercontinental Championship: AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio

It took a little while to understand, but this match was pretty much a tribute match. I loved every single moment of it too. We saw some good throw back situations, but in the end.. it was Dom that retained the title! I think also.. everyone was expecting Liv to come back as well... but that didn't happen of course. So.. what is next for Dom?

-Street Fight for Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena

Alright, the best way I can give a run down of this match.. go freakin watch it. Seriously, this match had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I couldn't look away for just one moment.. Everything I THOUGHT was going to happen, didn't.. but it was so much better! These two men put on ONE HELL of a show. What I didn't expect.. Cody to win the title back. There was no turn. There was no bullshit interference. He simply beat him clean (as one can in a street fight). The two had a moment, and Cody made his way to the back. Which made you think something else was happening.. I mean.. the NEW champ.. leaves before Cena? Cena had his moment, and you could tell.. he was very emotional, as one should be. But what I didn't expect... was BROCK LESNER. WHAT..THE...WHAT...

Brock made his way to the ring in a SHOCKING turn of events.. beat up John Cena and gave him an F5 ...

Overall: 7.9/10

What the hell are we suppose to do with this information. Is Brock.. Cena's final match down the line? Will we see him in the next PLE? What is hell is happening?

**Now.. there is ALOT of issue with this, and Brock's return. This is understandable. Let me make myself very clear... Brock didn't do anything illegal. Let me make myself very clear (even louder)... what he DID do.. is horrible, wrong, and disgusting. We know he is mentioned in the lawsuit multiple times, and yet he is back on WWE TV. This has caused a lot of issue in the wrestling world. But.. as much as I hate to say it.. It is what it is. WWE has made it very clear, they don't care about the internet concerns. And sadly, it's no different than actors/actresses/musicians that have done horrible and wrong things that are still popular. You have every right to make the choice to watch OR not watch. Your feelings are valid.

***Let's also make it very clear... be nice to people. Just because they have a different opinion than you, doesn't mean you are better than them and vice versa. Don't wish death upon people. Don't be mean. Don't be a dick.

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Rundown/Review

It's the Smackdown after Summer Slam.. and boy do we have a rundown for you. I don't know all what I expected from this, but it was a ride.. let me tell you.  **ALSO.. MAJOR THANK YOU to my 1,000 followers on Twitter! I made a post talking about how I really wanted to get 1k before the end of the month and y'all SHOWED OUT in a big way! It's so nice to have everyone, and I hope we can have a blast together!  Let's get into it! -Kicking off Smackdown: John Cena I really enjoyed this overall, but what I didn't like... was Logan Paul coming out. This wasn't on my "I want this match" list.. but it is what it is, I guess. It looks like we are getting the two at Clash in Paris later on in the month. We did see Drew McIntyre and Cody come into play, and the fact we are also getting a tag match later in the night.  -Motor City Machine Guns vs. JC Mateo and Talla Tonga Not happy. Solo made it clear that MFT was coming after the tag titles, which... we know ...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...
