WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown

I'll tell you what.. I guess that tweet wasn't lying about Monday Night Raw...IYKYK. We've got A LOT to talk about.. and a crash out is on the horizon.    -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan came to the ring with Dom to give a promo, explaining her actions last week with Nikki Bella. In this, she also called out Iyo Sky.. and she wants another title shot. Iyo came to the ring as well, and it all but seemed like this was a story ready to kick off.  -Ivy Nile vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Asuka (Queen of the Ring) This match was SO much better than I thought it was going to be overall. I really had this match between two women, and that was Vaquer and Asuka. All women did wonderful, and work so well together. We did see Rhea come out and cost Raquel in return from Rhea's match. And in the end, it was Asuka that got the win! She will now face Alexa Bliss this Friday! That match.. should be very good. It will be interesting t...

Monday Night Raw Run Down (June 24th)

WHAT A MONDAY NIGHT RAW!  Let's get into it!

I feel like there was a lot on the line this week, seeing we are inching closer and closer to Money in the Bank coming up on July 6th. Also, we have the fall out from the Wyatt Sicks making their attack on Chad Gable.

Drew McIntyre kicks off Raw with a one heck of a promo. I love where they are going with this, and feel the more that Drew loses, the more insane he becomes. He goes on to talk about everything that has happened, and the result of the attack on Punk from Smackdown. Drew then goes on to tell that he will be entering the MIB ladder match and go on to win the title again. This got me thinking... Is Punk going to be in the MIB match? Orrrrrr... will Punk cost Drew the match resulting in Summer Slam? or even Bad Blood? Regardless, it seems there will have to be one more big loss for Drew before all of this comes to a head.

Michael Cole did reveal that Pat McAfee was not there and The Miz would be taking his place for the time being. This got a lot of people talking! If you will recall for the last two weeks it has appeared the Wyatt Sicks have been haunting Pat. This got a lot of people thinking that something must have happened. I don't know if they will continue that.. but I was told today that Pat was actually not there due to a family emergency.

Going backstage, we see Chad Gable arriving to the arena. You can see there is a pretty nasty head wound on his temple. There was a bit of commotion trying to get a word from Gable, but he did not want the attention.

Bron Breakker vs Ludwig Kaiser
-This match was VERY good. I feel both men are good in the ring and this was a good way to show case that. This match was set up due to last week where Bron and Shamus had their match interupted by Ludwig. Sadly, it wasn't the end for that. Shamus did cause a DQ, which left a pretty pissed off Bron.

There is A LOT of talk about Liv Morgan and Dom. I am not sure how to take all of it, but it's a wild story line if  you ask me. Regardless, backstage Damian does his best to tell Dom to end things before they get too out of hand. After, Damian tells the rest of the judgement day to take care of Strowman once and for all.

MIB Qualifying Match (Lyra Valkyria vs Kairi Sane vs Shayna Baszler)

-I felt this match was okay, but we kind of knew the outcome before the match. We have seen previously where Iyo had qualified, but it would be too soon in my opinion before we see a fight of friends. In the end Lyra picked up the victory, claiming her spot in  MIB.

At this time, we saw Bron Breakker get pretty upset at his luck with matches. Both this week and last week were interrupted due to the feud against Ludwig and Shamus. After a little tense situation with Adam Pearce, it was resolved that Bron will be facing Sami Zayn at MIB for the title. This in my opinion will be a VERY good match, and makes me wonder if Sami will be dropping it.

It's time for Liv's promo.. and oh my... what is a promo.
I love Liv Morgan, but let's be honest when I say that this character/story line is pretty wild. When Liv said "Daddy Dom" it THREW ME... I was unwell, and did not expect that at all. Lol! Zelina would then interrupt and challenged Liv to at match on Monday Night Raw. While Liv did refuse, and talked about making it next week.. The Dirty Dom himself came out. The crowd was GREAT and just about refused to let him speak. We did see Liv and Vega fight a bit until Rey came out to help Vega only to be shoved by Dom. The segment ended with Liv following closely behind Dom as he went to the back.

MIB Qualifying Match: Braun Strowman vs Chad Gable vs Bronson Reed

Everyone was pretty hype for this match. I think everyone didn't know what to expect, seeing everything that happened with Chad last week. I thought it was pretty good, however I am dying for Reed to have his moment and really shine. This week was not the case. We did see Strowman get taken out by the Judgement Day, resulting in Chad getting the pin on Reed.

The win celebration was short lived. The lights dimmed and the music started to play of the Wyatt Sicks. We see the smoke starting to appear, and Nikki Cross made herself known. This (of course) scared the snot out of Gable, resulting him getting out of the ring. Nikki then made her way to the side of the ring, and delivering a box to Michael Cole. The camera followed Nikki until she disappeared in the crowd. After the commercial, Michael Cole revealed that in the box was a VHS tape that said "play me".

-Just a previous note: Backstage we see Liv Morgan trying to convince R-Truth to give JD and Finn a shot at the tag team titles. We see The Miz get up from commentary and rush to the back to prevent this from happening. I am pretty sure this was BEFORE the match had started.

We also see Chad trying to speak with Alpha Academy and reunite. It did fail (and I am hoping there still is a feud with Otis) and you then see Chad talking to the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. Will they be teaming again in the near future?

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs Kayden Carter and Katana Chance
-While I LOVE both of these teams, this match did not deliver. I am not sure what I expected but not this. This seemed to just showcase the fact that there were women, and that's it. Of course, Alba and Isla won. I am wondering where will they go from here? Will there be REAL competition? Or did they simply give them the titles for a hometown pop?

Damian Priest comes out to the ring to deliver a promo, when he is interrupted by Seth Rollins.
I felt this was pretty good, and very powerful setting up their up and coming match.Damian goes on to tell everyone that Seth that he would never be getting that title back.  Rollins fired back, claiming Priest would not be champion without The Judgment Day and CM Punk. This rings some truth. I take NOTHING away from DP, he's very good and I give him is flowers.. but come on and look at the big picture. Seth isn't wrong. Seth brings a certain offering to DP. If the champion retains, the challenger will never get a shot at the world title again. If Rollins wins, though, Priest has to leave The Judgment Day.This SHOOK me. Like, now we are getting somewhere. But what REALLY got me, is when DP said "The Judgment Day...they need me a hell of a lot more than Damian Priest needs them." Um, sir.. are we going to see a turn in this match? Did you just kind of tell  me that Seth just might be getting this title back due to an interference?? Let's go! Gunther did come out at that point, and let them know he could not wait for their match. This comes from Gunther winning the King of the Ring and will be facing one of them at Summer Slam.

Wyatt Sicks Video:

Cole went to the video that had been delivered to him earlier in the night. I don't exactly know what I expected for this to be. Some thought that it was going to be Alexa or even possibly Pat. But we saw Uncle Howdy speaking and asking questions to someone. It turned out to be none other than Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas). I don't think that I can describe how this promo made me feel, so much sadness and pain in his voice. When Uncle Howdy said "how did it feel when your brother died?" straight took me out. Such an incredible promo and segment. If you haven't watched it, please do.

Kofi Kingston vs Karrion Kross
I feel this match was pretty good, and the story line has been pretty solid. I like where they are going with it, and wonder if this will actually break up the New Day for a while. I feel it has really been teased recently. Paul Ellering appeared on the screen and asked if it was worth it before cameras caught the Authors of Pain taking out Woods. This did cause a distraction resulting in Kross delivering a Final Prayer for the win.

Awesome Truth vs Judgement Day

Well, sadly The Miz wasn't able to prevent this one. The match was official and it went on. We did noticed that Liv made her way to ringside towards the end confirming what we already knew. Dom and Carlito did make their self known as well but it wasn't too long before Strowman came out to clear the ringside. Sadly, that wasn't enough and we had NEW tag team champs.

This really threw me for a loop, because I wanted to see more of the Awesome Truth. This AGAIN brings me to the feel of "did they do this for the feel good moment" type situation.

In the end, it's going to be a wild ride when Rhea comes back.. and a hella bad day for the Judgement Day and Liv.

Overall Rating: 8.3/10

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am pretty excited where this goes from here. Will there be more of the Wyatt Sicks on Friday Night? Or will they only be on Monday Night Raw? I feel it needs to be both. Especially if there is a lot of "promo videos". You have a total of 5 people who need to tell their story, and if only MNR is the only time, we will be there for a while. I did read where it is suppose to be bleeding over to all programs but only time will tell.

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...

WWE Friday Night Smackdown (April 11th) Rundown/Review

We are officially ONE WEEK away from Wrestlemania, and this one is going to be HUGE! I can't wait! We are going to talk a little bit about everything that has happened last night and then go straight into what I believe will happen next Sat and Sun! We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Nick kicks off Smackdown with Randy  We got both men face to face in this, and I won't lie.. it was pretty damn good. Can we please see these two go at it at Mania?? It's been teased for far too long, and it would for sure deliver. However, before it could go any further.. Solo and Tama made themselves known. I think I can speak for everyone when I tell you that the air left everyone's body. But thankfully it was a set up for a tag team match between Randy/LA vs Tama/Solo.. -Women's Gauntlet Match Overall.. we kind of knew who would win this. I will say it was pretty good and nice to see all these teams go at it. I will also mention, whatever this is with Maxx...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...
