WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown

We are so close to the road to Wrestlemania! We are a little over a month away from the Royal Rumble and things are getting HOT! Our next big WWE program will be Monday Night Raw: One Year on Netflix and things could change in a big way. Let's not forget outside of that.. we do have an AEW PPV in a few weeks as well. We have a lot to talk about from Raw, so let's get into it! Kicking off: Gunther After his win over Cena in his final match.. things were up to 11 with this opening. I don't give a damn what anyone says.. this was amazing. You can hate Gunther all you like (or even Triple H) but that doesn't change that he is now one of the best in the business. I love this for him. I love the "I don't give a shit" attitude.. the arrogant vibe, and the shit eating smile. It's perfect and I can't wait to see where go with this next. I did see them teasing AJ Styles... which would be pretty damn good as well.  The Usos vs. New Day I don't like it. We...

Thank You, John Cena

What a run. 

I'm not going to lie, when John Cena first debuted I didn't watch. It took a couple of years to find out who Cena was. And boy am I glad I did. Over the years, John Cena has broken down doors in wrestling, made us mad, sad, happy.. pretty much every single emotion in the book. But he changed wrestling in the best ways year by year. 

I could go on and on about what I have loved and hated about Cena's 20+ year in ring career but it just wouldn't scratch the surface for me. 

Last night was beautiful, and I'll get into that in just a moment...

Let's talk about this year alone. When John Cena talked about his final run this year, I didn't expect what we got at all. I pretty much expected WWE to kiss his ass, and let him run off into the sunset. I was SHOCKED out of my mind when he came in 2nd to Jey at the Rumble. I thought "GOOD... don't let him just come back in and win win win". But what came next was one of the shocking moments for me in wrestling. Everything that happened at the Chamber was insane.. the match itself, the win, and turning his back on Cody. 

No one saw any of that coming, and it just was perfect to be honest. 

I wish the overall win at Mania would have been better. I wish his heel run could have been more interesting, instead of confusing.  

Regardless, I thought this year was good to Cena. I thought he wrestled some of the best, and even some that he wished to wrestle in his final run. The tournament was good, but.. once you saw Gunther come in.. you knew what was going to happen.

Last night was beautiful in so many ways. I thought that it was a wonderful showcase of NXT and TNA and it highlighted Cody, Bayley, AJ, and Dragon Lee as well. What I didn't expect was the emotion of it all. THE final time. The final time we would see Cena come out for his final match, the final time we would see Cena and Stu interact, the final time we would see John Cena wrestle in a WWE ring. I thought the match was wonderful as well. It showed love, strength, passion, hustle, loyalty, and of course respect. Gunther isn't the bad guy in this.. he did his job, and did amazing. John Cena tapped out, something that he hasn't done in 20 years. The ending was poetic and a "passing the torch" moment that most have seemed to miss. 

John Cena has never been just about himself, especially in wrestling. Did you all think that was going to change? Gunther deserved the win. John Cena was happy to give it to him. Simple as that. 

Those that are going back and forth.. screaming "F**K Triple H"... why? Because it isn't the way you wanted it to go? Because it wasn't how you booked it in your head? I'm almost positive that Cena was okay with his, and this was done in a way to respect everyone. 

Like I said in my tweet before: If Triple H has made you crash out so bad... over this. I can't wait to see what he does next. Be mad.. STAY mad.

Thank you for all you have done for wrestling. Without it.. I might not have kept watching at some points.

 I'll tell you what.. I guess that tweet wasn't lying about Monday Night Raw...IYKYK. We've got A LOT to talk about.. and a crash out is on the horizon.    -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan came to the ring with Dom to give a promo, explaining her actions last week with Nikki Bella. In this, she also called out Iyo Sky.. and she wants another title shot. Iyo came to the ring as well, and it all but seemed like this was a story ready to kick off.  -Ivy Nile vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Asuka (Queen of the Ring) This match was SO much better than I thought it was going to be overall. I really had this match between two women, and that was Vaquer and Asuka. All women did wonderful, and work so well together. We did see Rhea come out and cost Raquel in return from Rhea's match. And in the end, it was Asuka that got the win! She will now face Alexa Bliss this Friday! That match.. should be very good. It will be interesting t...

WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown/Review

What a time, everyone. I have been going going going for the last week or so.. so much that I haven't blogged. I hate when I have to skip weeks, but to be honest... sometimes it is like that. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking off Raw: Rhea Ripley We love Mami.. and she is MAD. Rhea addresses the attack of Asuka from last week.. which of course resulted in Iyo to come out as well. It wasn't long until Asuka and Kairi made themselves known and a brawl was set. This time.. it was Iyo that was misted by Asuka. My guess is that we are going to see some tag team action much sooner than later. I enjoyed this very much overall.. and am pretty happy that we are having Rhea and Iyo set away from the title action. But the question is.. when it is all set and done, are we going to see Rhea or Iyo turn on one another in a shocking turn of events? -Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio vs. Rusev I won't lie.. Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...
