WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown/Review

It just dawned on me that I never did my Smackdown Rundown... and I am so upset. Let's just say it was a busy and full weekend for me. Regardless, this week for wrestling is going to be HUGE.. so bare with me, as it will be ALOT! I think I will have a blog every single day from Saturday-Tuesday... I might even have two in one day. Saturday is TWO PPVs.. in Wrestlepalooza and AEW All Out.... I WILL be watching AEW first and LIVE so you can expect the tweets. I am unsure about watching Wrestlepalooza in real time due to AEW but I will be tweeting as best as possible when I do watch it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking off: John Cena We had a pretty dang good promo with Cena and talking about Brock... A good bit of this confused me.. seeing that Brock has only been on Smackdown and not Raw leading up to their match on Saturday. I wish there was a little more. With this.. this makes me believe the match itself isn't going to end clean and will m...

WWE Clash in Paris -- Rundown/Review

Going into this PLE, I wasn't sure what to think.. overall.. I didn't think I was going to enjoy it either. The card (at the time) wasn't something I was happy with.. and honestly thought I might skip it. However, by showtime.. I was very much interested. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!

Kicking Off: Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed

This match was REALLY good, but did run a little longer than I have liked. I didn't expect to see Roman pick up the win.. but was really happy we did. However.. by the end... everything made a little more sense. Post match we saw Bron Breakker come into play.. and Breakker and Reed beat down Roman, sending him on his way via stretcher. We also did see Jey come out to help, but it seemed it was a little too late.

**It has since been reported that Roman has been "taken out" for the time being due to going to film 'Street Fighter' over the next couple of weeks.

-The Wyatt Sicks vs Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Titles

I've seen such mixed reviews on this match, but in my opinion.. this was great. The story is going wonderful and it makes perfect sense.. The power that the Wyatt Sicks has is wonderful and I think this is only the start. Both teams really did amazing, and you can more than see the cracks forming in The Street Profits now. The Wyatts did retain their titles, and now it is on to the next. So who will it be? The Miz and Melo? Or.. (as reported) MFT? Regardless, I can still see a couple of more months with Wyatt Sicks holding onto the tag titles.

-Women's Intercontinental Championship: Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch

I didn't care for it. I hate that.. but it's true. Now.. don't get me wrong, both of these ladies are WONDERFUL but this match just wasn't it. It does make sense now (that I have watched the entire thing) that Becky does retain.. but I wish there was something a little more to it. I really hope whoever is next to face Becky does in fact win, but this run with Becks just don't feel right to me.

-Good Old-Fashioned Donnybrook: Sheamus vs. Rusev

One of the matches that I wasn't looking forward to at all, ended up being one of my favorites after all. You want to talk about hard hitting and being on the edge of your seat the ENTIRE TIME. Both men worked AMAZING together, and took each other to the limit. I fully expected Sheamus to pick up the win (esp after the last couple of weeks on Raw) but when Rusev made him tap out.. I was SHOCKED. Now.. while having these two go at it.. and the feud finally being over.. I hope what is next for both men is so much better overall.

-John Cena vs. Logan Paul

I didn't get to watch this entire match how I wanted to (some tiny human didn't want to go to sleep) what I did watch was pretty good. Now mind you.. this was another match I wasn't too thrilled about. I will say.. both men went CRAZY on each other and they preformed one HELL of a match. The back and forth.. the finishers... all just had you biting your nails at who was going to win. In a shocking turn of events (because I was SO convinced Logan was going to win) Cena did pick up the win. As much as I crap on Logan Paul.. boy did freaking amazing. But now is the question.. who will be next? Do we finally see Brock again? Or will there be someone else before then?

-Fatal 4-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship

VERY much conflicted about this whole situation. Now before.. we did get the news from Adam Pearce that Bron and Bronson were banned from the building and if they showed up.. they would be "fired". So.. that made me believe that we would be seeing a 4th man.

The match itself was pretty good overall. There were some spots that I didn't expect.. the "working together" and turning all at once, the table spots.. just wild overall. I didn't expect for Seth to lose it, so that wasn't really on my mind. However we did have to remember.. being a fatal 4 way.. there are no rules. So when Punk ALMOST had it won.. someone came behind (dressed in all black) and did a low blow. This resulted in Punk losing to Seth once again. The masked person.. BECKY LYNCH. Didn't see this one coming by any means.. I mean sure, it has been talked about previously, but I didn't think it would actually become something down the line. SO......... does this mean we have a possible AJ Lee returning?? I'm not expecting it, because to be honest.. after hearing her talk about her mental health before she retired... I just want her healthy and happy. If anything... Bayley should be helping Punk... you know, since there is already some heat with Becky and all.

Overall: 7.2/10

UP NEXT: Monday Night Raw

-Who will be the NEXT Raw Women's Champ?
-What is next for Punk after his loss?
-Will we see any new changes with talent? Draft soon?
-Who will face Becky next?
-Who will face Seth next?

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Rundown/Review

It's the Smackdown after Summer Slam.. and boy do we have a rundown for you. I don't know all what I expected from this, but it was a ride.. let me tell you.  **ALSO.. MAJOR THANK YOU to my 1,000 followers on Twitter! I made a post talking about how I really wanted to get 1k before the end of the month and y'all SHOWED OUT in a big way! It's so nice to have everyone, and I hope we can have a blast together!  Let's get into it! -Kicking off Smackdown: John Cena I really enjoyed this overall, but what I didn't like... was Logan Paul coming out. This wasn't on my "I want this match" list.. but it is what it is, I guess. It looks like we are getting the two at Clash in Paris later on in the month. We did see Drew McIntyre and Cody come into play, and the fact we are also getting a tag match later in the night.  -Motor City Machine Guns vs. JC Mateo and Talla Tonga Not happy. Solo made it clear that MFT was coming after the tag titles, which... we know ...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...
