Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown

What a wild week..... IYKYK....

Anyway.. apparently....there is still Friday Night Smackdown and Night of Champs going on, so... we've got a lot to unpack. If you want to know my full opinion on the whole SHITuation.. then just go to my Twitter. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it.

-Kicking off Raw: Seth Rollins and Fam

Is anyone else kind of getting the ick for Seth and his new group? I am like.. almost there. Hopefully it will change, but something is just off to me. I feel the build was wonderful, but since then.. it's kind of dragged. I see the vision, I really do.. it's just odd to me. LA Knight has been written off for the time being, as expected.. but for how long? Will he return on Raw? Seth Rollins has been talking about cashing in.. and I think everyone has all but figured it out. Cody will win at Night of Champs.. BEAT John Cena...and then Seth will cash in. BUT.. the question is, does Seth win? Or will Roman cost him the big one, as Seth did many of years ago? This should be good. Now... back to Penta and Bron.

-Penta vs. Bron Breakker

I'm getting a little tired of this fued to be honest. Maybe it hasn't been that long, it just seems like it. I liked the match overall, and some of the spots there were pretty wild. However, I think we know where this is going. There is TWO others besides Seth.. and only one of Penta. Rey has been MIA lately as well over on Smackdown. Is this going where I think it is? Are we going to see The Lucha Brothers reunite and take down Bronson and Bron? We'd love to see it. However, in the end of the match.. it was Bron that picked up the win.

-Goldberg/Michael Cole

I hate this. I hate it with such passion it should be a crime. I would have a problem with it even if it was Stone Cold Steve Austin... how in the world do you have someone come in... and just go straight in front of the line for a title shot. Not only that.. he hasn't had the best record either when it comes to hurting people for real. I don't want to see Goldberg get hurt.. OR Gunther. And if we have Gunther lose this title to this man, oh.. my... God... that WILL in fact be THE crash out of the century. I guess we will find out at Saturday Night Main Event.

-Queen of the Ring Semifinal: Jade Cargill vs. Roxanne Perez

The match itself was good, nothing amazing.. both women seemingly worked well together. But I feel this was a given. Roxanne for sure as a story line with Raquel and the tag team titles, so there would be no reason for her to be in a title match at this time. So of course, it was Jade picking up the win to go to the finals on Saturday. Is she winning the whole thing? For sure.

-Gunther Promo

Such an interesting promo if you ask me. Gunther was very serious, and a little bothered it seemed. I loved the seriousness and over all vibe from it all. I really (for the love of God) hope this match it straight forward and there is no short cuts. They still have just about 2 more weeks to build this up.

-Women's Intercontinental Championship: Bayley vs. Becky Lynch

The match was REALLY good, I would say.. but I am not a huge fan of the ending. I am not a huge fan of how Lyra has been involved either. I don't understand the full NEED of Lyra and Bayley being against each other. So after Bayley is attacked, she comes back.. and then Lyra is pissed at her? I don't get it. Bayley didn't cost Lyra anything. However this went even further as Lyra cost Bayley the match, when she attacked Becky. I smell a triple threat.

-Rhea/Raquel

The two have been coming back and forth at each other for a while now.. and now it's come to a head. Against my better judgement, I actually have enjoyed this. It's nice to see Raquel on her own, and not be in the shadows of someone else. That has seemed to be almost her whole career. After Raquel called out Rhea, they brawled a bit.. and Rhea ended up going through a table. We did see Roxanne come to help as well, doing her best to get in good graces. So I am starting to think that we might be replacing Liv sooner than we think.

-King of the Ring Tournament Semifinal: Cody Rhodes vs. Jey Uso

I enjoyed this match so much! The whole match had me on the edge of my seat to be honest.. and I would love to see them have more matches moving forward. I also really loved the respect that was shown, as they weren't really pitted against each other for this match. In the end tho, it was Cody Rhodes that got the win.. and will move on to face Randy Orton in the finals. That match... should be amazing.

Overall: 7.9/10

UP NEXT: Friday Night Smackdown

-Who will be the team to cost Wyatt Sicks their title match?
-Will Tiffy retain her title against Nia Jax?
-Will we see a NEW Women's US Champ??
-Could we see matches starting to be announced for Evolution??

It's safe to say that with everything that has been going down the last week or so.. Evolution is in trouble. I smell quick matches put together that won't make sense nor go anywhere else past the PLE. Sadly.. that is just how it is. We also (the same weekend) have Saturday Night Main Event.. in which only one match has been announced. Hopefully after this weekend in Saudi.. things will heat up. Only time can tell. After that, full steam ahead for Summer Slam! It's safe to say after this weekend, we will already have TWO matches that will be announced... this will include the winner of Queen/King of the Ring facing the current Champs.

It's going to be a long week.. so let's go!

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
