Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...
We've got a heck of a time coming in wrestling. Starting NEXT WEEK.. WWE and AEW are going balls to the wall until August. We've got Night of Champs next Saturday, and following 2 weeks after is All In, Evolution, and Saturday Night Main Event. THREE weeks later will be the FIRST 2 night Summer Slam as well. You can expect all the things coming up, if I am being honest! Let's FREAKIN GO! We've got a lot to talk about.. so let's get into it!
-LA Knight Kicks Off Smackdown
We saw the aftermath that was LA Knight and Seth Rollins crew.. and LA was ready to talk it out. However, it wasn't long until Paul Heyman came out to speak his mind. One thing led to another and we saw Bron and Bronson come out to attack. However, LA was able to stand his ground. I don't know about yall but this one Seth group isn't exactly living up to the hype. I have this feeling by Summer Slam.. things might heat up, but I don't know. Could we see a cash in? Maybe sooner than later? I could FOR SURE see it at Summer Slam.. but let's not rule out Saturday Night Main Event and Gunther.
-Queen of the Ring Semifinal: Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss
I enjoyed this so much, but just wasn't sure who would win. I love both women, and they both deserve it so much. However, I felt it that Alexa could afford a loss.. seeing everything she has had going on with Charlotte. In the end, it was in fact Asuka that picked up the win.. and will now move on in the Queen of the Ring finals. Will it be Roxanne? Or Jade she faces?
-Aleister Black/Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson)
This wasn't even a match, as the bell didn't even ring. But we saw Ron Killings attack Kit and take him out before Black even got to the ring. Which.. of course rubbed Black the wrong way as you can imagine. Interesting...
-Cody Rhodes/Jey Uso/Sami Zayn/Randy Orton
This whole thing was a little off to me. Cody came to the ring.. ready to give a promo, but that didn't happen. Right as Cody went to say something.. Jey Uso came out. He gave a little promo, but then Sami came out. Sami gave a promo.. Both Jey and Sami talked about the title shot and the tournament. THEN.. Randy came out to give a little promo as well. Cody never said anything, but his face said everything we needed to know.
-King of the Ring Semifinal: Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton
Another match I wasn't sure about moving forward. I had it in my head that we would for sure get Sami and Cody at the end of the tournament.. oh boy was I wrong. The match itself was so good, and you could feel the importance of it all. However, it just wasn't enough for Sami in the end. Randy Orton got the win.. and will move on to face either Cody or Jey in the finals on Saturday. Now.. what is to come for Sami? Will we see the dark side of him with Karrion Kross? I have a feeling.. it's going to get good. And we just might see the full blown crash out of Sami Zayn.
-Nia Jax/Tiffy/Naomi
I'm just not a fan right now of this. I also know this is just kind of a "we are almost to the end of this.. let's just add it here for a filler" type of situation. Next week we will see Nia and Tiffy go at it ONE MORE TIME.. with a last woman standing match for the title. I don't think we will see a new champ.. Nia will lose once again. We MIGHT see Naomi "try" to cash in, but it be a full fake out. We saw Tiffy and Nia go at it once again, and Naomi teased a cash in last night as well.. But Nia stopped that. Here is my prediction: Jade will WIN the Queen of the Ring, and will get her match with Tiffy at Summer Slam. I believe during this match we will see Naomi fully cash in.. BUT here is where I am stuck. Will Bianca return to HELP Naomi? Or will she ruin her plan and ruin her cash in? This will FOR SURE be interesting..
-Charlotte Flair vs. Chelsea Green
This match comes after some back and forth with Char and Chelsea backstage. Also.. things seem to be brewing with Charlotte and Alexa as well. New tag team? Hmm.. You could see it, this could also lead to a team.. and Char betrays Alexa. This would result in the Wyatt Sicks? And Nikki reunion? The match was okay, and Char got the win.. but not without some bull mess from Piper. I don't care what anyone says that was STUPID and she should have known better. That move alone could have ruined everything for Char. WHY would you even do something like that?
-Solo/Jacob Fatu
This whole situation has been a mess (in a good way) and I love it. I love this whole story line and how it has been done thus far. Both work wonderful together and I can't wait to see the full end game of this.. which I am assuming would be at Summer Slam. After heated words, JC did attack Fatu with Solo.. and Jimmy came to the aid of Fatu. Interesting.. are we aiming for some tag team action? Maybe Saturday Night Main Event? We WILL however see Fatu and Solo go one on one at Night of Champs next week.. I feel there might be some issues during that match if you know what I mean.
-LA Knight vs. "Big" Bronson Reed
I'm in a love/hate situation with all of this right now. I love LA Knight and everything but where in the hell is this going? Like.. what is the end game? Seth has the MITB.. Knight just can't take it from him? The match.. wonderful! I loved everything about it.. and in the end we did see LA Knight win due to a DQ. Was this also a big move to have LA go to Raw from now on? If so.. I don't mind that change.
-Ron "R-Truth" Killings vs. John Cena
Didn't like the match, because.. that really wasn't even one. I thought this was a bit silly in my opinion, seeing that we already had this match and Ron lost on the last SNME. But.. we this new attitude, I totally get it. The match ended with Cena hitting Ron with the belt, and the match ended. However.. Punk did come to the rescue, and there was a bit of a rough up. Cena put Punk through a table, and then went on to give Cena's version of the Pipe Bomb promo. If you haven't watched it, I would. It was actually pretty dang good overall. And.. it wasn't something I expected from him. So this leaves the question.. next week at Night of Champs, how does it end? Does Cena win clean? Is there a cash in? Does Punk win? Or is there something lurking?

-Zelina vs Giulia of the Women's US Title (Prediction: AND NEW) I love Zelina and all.. but this run is so lack luster.
-Nia Jax vs Tiffy in a Last Woman Standing for the Title (Prediction: Tiffy retains) and possible Naomi cash in tease.
-Street Profits vs Wyatt Sicks for the Tag Team Titles (Predictions: RETAIN, due to DQ) I said this previously, I honestly think that we will see DIY or Fraxiom get involved and cost the Wyatts. This would lead to two weeks of Wyatts facing tag teams to make their way to their rematch at Summer Slam. Why would you have them win so quickly? It would be wonderful to have them win on such a big stage as Summer Slam don't you think..
Either way this coming week is said to be huge, so we will see.
