WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown/Review

It just dawned on me that I never did my Smackdown Rundown... and I am so upset. Let's just say it was a busy and full weekend for me. Regardless, this week for wrestling is going to be HUGE.. so bare with me, as it will be ALOT! I think I will have a blog every single day from Saturday-Tuesday... I might even have two in one day. Saturday is TWO PPVs.. in Wrestlepalooza and AEW All Out.... I WILL be watching AEW first and LIVE so you can expect the tweets. I am unsure about watching Wrestlepalooza in real time due to AEW but I will be tweeting as best as possible when I do watch it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking off: John Cena We had a pretty dang good promo with Cena and talking about Brock... A good bit of this confused me.. seeing that Brock has only been on Smackdown and not Raw leading up to their match on Saturday. I wish there was a little more. With this.. this makes me believe the match itself isn't going to end clean and will m...

WWE Friday Night Smackdown (Before NOC) Rundown

So, I am a little behind.. but that's okay. Right now I am going to talk about Smackdown, and we will get to Night of Champs later.. maybe later today, maybe tomorrow morning. I haven't made up my mind just yet. Regardless, we have a lot to talk about.. so let's get into it!

-Kicking off Smackdown: Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton

This part was a little dicey.. There was a tech issue and the feed was cut for those LIVE, however it was edited as best as possible when it aired in the United States. The two went back and forth with their choice of words, and the match is made my friends. I don't know about anyone else but this promo was different with Cody. I have this feeling that we are going to be seeing more of a heel Cody..

-Jimmy Uso vs. JC Mateo

I thought the whole Bloodline story was over.. and never coming back. Who am I kidding.. this is never going to end. I wasn't really thrilled with the match overall, but the story is there. There was some interference (like we didn't know that would happen) and JC ended up getting the win. I just want to know.. what the hell is the end game with this? Could we really see another Bloodline War Games? Because the more I think about it.. the more I could see it happening. Let's hope not.

-Zelina Vega vs. Giulia (U.S. Title)

Okay.. so here is my issue. I loved the match, it was actually much better than I thought it was going to be. Both women looked wonderful and worked well together as well. But in the end, it was Giulia that picked up the win to become your NEW Women's US Champ. I love Zelina. She is wonderful and amazing at everything that she does.. don't get me wrong. I just feel like this run was SO pushed and forced. They shouldn't have allowed Vega to go after the title so many times previously, they should have had her win FIRST... but that is just my opinion. Regardless, good on Giulia for picking up the win and getting her first title on the main roster. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, and who will be next to challenge her.

-Jade/Asuka Promo

Both women are wonderful, and deserve to win to be honest. I could see Asuka winning and facing Tiffy for sure, I think the match would be damn good. However, I can see the story for Jade if she wins.. but we will get to that later on. We did see Naomi come out to talk crap, and while Jade went for her.. Asuka went in for the attack.

-DIY vs. Andrade and Rey Fenix

I honestly don't even remember how this match came to be, but it was damn good. The overall match was very fun, and refreshing. In the end, it was Andrade and Rey Fenix that picked up the win. Having Rey tag with Andrade makes me think we will see a small run with those two.. before Penta will need help on Raw. What do we think about this? Could we see the Lucha Bros sooner than later? Or will they wait until the draft after Summer Slam to reunite the two?

-The Street Profits vs. Wyatt Sicks (Tag Titles)

Can we please talk about the Wyatt Sicks entrance? Because omg yes. We saw (once again) a new Uncle Howdy look.. and this time it caught more than just a few eyes. Are we seeing a completely NEW Uncle Howdy? Or is he morphing into something he should have been all along? Only time will tell. The match was pretty good overall, but as expected.. we did see the other tag teams get involved. We have about 5 weeks until Summer Slam.. just enough time for a little tag team tournament to see who will face the Street Profits. This would also be THE perfect way to push the Wyatts.. and give them the spotlight they deserve. I mean come on.. they debuted last JUNE and have yet to be on a PPV.. given... 5-6 months of that was Bo Dallas being out with injury. WWE... don't screw this up.

-Tiffany Stratton vs. Nia Jax (Women's Title)

I hope to GOD.. this is the last time we see these two go at it. Both women are wonderful.. but you can only put them together so many times. The match itself was better than I expected it to be, and was a bit brutal at times. Tiffy was able to put Nia through a table, allowing her to pick up the win.. after Nia was OUT. Who will Tiffy face next? Asuka or Jade? What about Naomi? Hmm..

-John Cena/PunkLife

This whole segment went CRAZY and I loved it. I never in a million years thought we would see this, and I actually enjoyed it. After Cena came out to talk some trash.. we heard an oh so familiar theme..Thuganomics. And we saw Punk, dressed just like Cena from back in the day. This promo was WILD and something I didn't expect. If you haven't seen this, you 110% should.

overall: 8.1/10

================================================================

**Night of Champs Rundown will be out tomorrow morning. Last night was pretty rough with my little one, so the extra rest is much needed.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Rundown/Review

It's the Smackdown after Summer Slam.. and boy do we have a rundown for you. I don't know all what I expected from this, but it was a ride.. let me tell you.  **ALSO.. MAJOR THANK YOU to my 1,000 followers on Twitter! I made a post talking about how I really wanted to get 1k before the end of the month and y'all SHOWED OUT in a big way! It's so nice to have everyone, and I hope we can have a blast together!  Let's get into it! -Kicking off Smackdown: John Cena I really enjoyed this overall, but what I didn't like... was Logan Paul coming out. This wasn't on my "I want this match" list.. but it is what it is, I guess. It looks like we are getting the two at Clash in Paris later on in the month. We did see Drew McIntyre and Cody come into play, and the fact we are also getting a tag match later in the night.  -Motor City Machine Guns vs. JC Mateo and Talla Tonga Not happy. Solo made it clear that MFT was coming after the tag titles, which... we know ...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...
