Oh my friends... how my heart hurts for those that were released last night. This seems to be a normal around right after Mania, but after this list.. Smackdown just was a little lack luster. While there was ALOT of NXT names include the shocking release of Cora Jade.. you also saw on the main roster being released Dakota Kai, Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, and Katana Chance/Kayden Carter. I have full confidence that everyone will be successful in their work moving forward.
On to Smackdown... if I skipped something, you'll have to excuse me... But let's get into it! Also, it's nice to note that in ONE WEEK there will be Backlash! So that should be interesting.
-Kicking off Smackdown: Damian Priest vs LA Knight
We saw some backstage fighting with Damian and Solo/Jacob Fatu.. which led to LA Knight coming out to the ring to give a little promo about last week and the match that went crazy. Out comes DP to speak his mind, and it wasn't long until the two went at it. It wasn't very hard to find out where this was going due to the rumors of a fatal 4 way at Backlash... so it wasn't shocking when Solo went in for the DQ. Looks like those rumors were right.
-Pretty Deadly vs. Fraxiom
I'm not going to lie, I am SO glad Fraxiom is on Smackdown right now! This will lead to many of wonderful matches within the tag division, I feel. I loved this fully... all men work wonderful together and it's nice to see some fresh faces and situations. In the end, we saw Fraxiom pick up the win. So now the question is... who is next for the new main roster tag team? I'd LOVE to see them face MCMG and DIY.
-The Miz vs Alister Black
I fully went into this thinking it was going to be a squash match, and while it technically could have been.. it was overall pretty fun. These two do work well together, and it has be wondering how long this feud will last. Alister Black picked up the win, but now it seems Melo (The Miz's partner) will have his go next week.
-Zelina Vega vs Piper Niven
I AM LOVING Chelsea Green and this gimmick right now. She is the best to be honest... However I just wasn't a huge fan of the match. The story.. is wonderful, it's there tho. While we did see Vega pick up the win, Piper hit Chelsea on accident. Is this the next story? A break up within this group? Hmm.. it will be interesting to say the least.
-Rey Fenix vs. Santos Escobar
Looks like things are finally breaking down with Santos and Rey, with Santos slowing losing everything. I loved this match to be honest. It was very good, and very well put together. I wouldn't mind seeing them work together again down the road if not sooner. But in the end, we did see Rey Fenix pick up the win.
**We also did see Randy Orton do a small promo about John Cena, leading up to their match next Saturday.
-Jade/Tiffy vs Nia/Naomi
I enjoyed this match for the most part, but there is just so much going on, story wise.. Jade and Naomi feud still? Tiffy vs Nia STILL? But is Jade going for the title? Naomi for the title? Nia for the title?? Can we please NOT do fatal four way? If not.. then I can see the vision for the Money in the Bank line up. While the match was pretty good, I still feel it fell just a little short.. but... it was the main event, so that was nice to see. In the end, it was Jade and Tiffy that picked up the win.
Overall: 8.4/10

I'd LOVE to introduce everyone to Mouthing Off with Mike Wrestling Podcast! If you are a fan of wrestling, then you should make sure you give him a listen and a follow! All of his social media information is listed as @mown_podcast and I'll be sure to tag him in this Twitter post as well! After talking with Mike we did a little interview: Let's dive in!
*How long have you been watching wrestling?
Mike: I’ve been watching wrestling for as long as I can remember. I used to watch it with my grandma when she would babysit me at the age of 5 So I’d say 23 years but my earliest recollection of wrestling would be from 2005- to now!
*With Wrestlemania behind us, what was your favorite and least favorite part of both nights?
Mike: My favorite part of Wrestlemania hands down was getting to experience it live in Vegas with the crowd. To feel that energy and to hear the crowd going crazy it’s an unmatched experience. My favorite part was watching Jey Uso become the world champion for the first time in his career. My least favorite moment was Travis Scott getting involved in the main event and adding absolutely nothing to the Cody Rhodes/ John Cena rivalry.
*Who is your favorite WWE super star?
3. With Wrestlemania behind us, what was your favorite and least favorite part of both nights?
4. Who is your favorite WWE super star?
Mike: My favorite WWW Superstar right now would be Cody Rhodes, I think Cody embodies what it means to be a “professional” in the wrestling industry. I also feel he can connect with just about any audience. If we’re talking all time favorite WWE Superstar of the past or present that would be Jeff Hardy!
Mike, thank you for all your content and having the time to answer some questions! Don't forget to follow Mike on all his online content! You won't be disappointed!
