Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...

WWE Backlash Rundown/Review (May 10th)

I took a little break this week from blogging, and now that Backlash is over... it's time to get back to work. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!

-Kicking off Backlash: Fatal 4 Way for the US Title

I enjoyed this for the most part, and everything that I thought was going to happen...didn't. However, that didn't stop it from being very good overall. Sadly, this was my only window to shower and get ready for bed.. so I did miss some here and there. I honestly can't wait for Drew and Damian to feud some more (if they do) because they work so well together. Hopefully after that very iffy table situation, Drew is all good. In the end, it was Jeff Cobb that made himself known to help out Jacob to retain the title. Hmm.. Jacob didn't look happy either. Are we finally seeing the straw that broke it all? Friday will for sure be interesting moving forward.

-Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch

I had an idea of what this match was going to be, and it for sure wasn't this. This match was freaking AMAZING and these two torn the house down with this overall. If you haven't watched this match.. you should 110%.. because I was blown away. The ending tho... I wasn't expecting Lyra to pull off a full blown upset and retain her title. It looks like the importance of this title just increased. While I wasn't sure at first, this whole situation is going to be HUGE.. and in the end, Becky will be IC champ.

-Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta

I was pretty excited for this match overall.. and it delivered. Dom did wonderful and I have loved seeing his progress over time. Dude is going to be a huge baby face. We did see the Judgement Day come out to seemingly help Dom.. but there was some weirdness coming from Finn. Did anyone else catch that? However there was no change of title, and there was no turn.. Dom picked up the win and left with Judgement Day to end it. The turn is COMING and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it on the fall out on Monday Night Raw.

-Gunther vs. Pat McAfee

This was pretty good. Like, much better than I thought it would be. Pat gave it his all... and lasted A LOT longer than I thought he would. We did see Michael Cole get involved but that was short lived.. I swear I thought we were going to see a MASSIVE upset but in the end.. Gunther made Pat pass out. While the match wasn't 5 star.. it was very good overall.

-John Cena vs. Randy Orton

What the hell was even this? Overall the match was good. Just good. The ending... holy crap. I was pretty shocked overall.. the ending was very bleak and not what I really expected. I guess this once again goes back to "Cena ruining wrestling"... We saw him trying to cheat.. not once, but multiple times.. the ref going down multiple times was kind of getting old, and of course the random "management" coming out to try to get control of it all. ANDDDD we got Nick being RKO'd for the what.. 3rd time? This is for sure going to be something. And Cena retained. I love Cena and all.. but this whole story line has been iffy. Give me a little something more. Oh.. and the random ass R Truth segment. And after the whole post show.. we are FOR SURE getting Truth vs Cena at Saturday Night Main Event in 2 weeks.

Overall: 7.3/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-What will become of Judgement Day after Backlash? Finn didn't look pleased.
-Rhea and Iyo tag match, can they work together?
-WWE Draft NEWS?
-MIB qualifying matches?
-Do you think we will see any glitches?
-Will Jey respond after being attacked by Logan Paul?
-How will Becky react after LOSING to Lyra?

We are now 2 weeks away from Main Event... what will the remaining 2 matches be? And 2 weeks after that... we will have Money in the Bank. Things are heating up leading into the summer... lighting up the way for some MAJOR matches at the 1st ever 2 NIGHT Summer Slam.

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
