WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown

I'll tell you what.. I guess that tweet wasn't lying about Monday Night Raw...IYKYK. We've got A LOT to talk about.. and a crash out is on the horizon.    -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan came to the ring with Dom to give a promo, explaining her actions last week with Nikki Bella. In this, she also called out Iyo Sky.. and she wants another title shot. Iyo came to the ring as well, and it all but seemed like this was a story ready to kick off.  -Ivy Nile vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Asuka (Queen of the Ring) This match was SO much better than I thought it was going to be overall. I really had this match between two women, and that was Vaquer and Asuka. All women did wonderful, and work so well together. We did see Rhea come out and cost Raquel in return from Rhea's match. And in the end, it was Asuka that got the win! She will now face Alexa Bliss this Friday! That match.. should be very good. It will be interesting t...

AEW Dynamite (Jan 15th) Rundown/Review

It isn't a huge surprise that I haven't been doing AEW blogs recently.. and to be honest I didn't want to do this one. But.. I made the choice to go ahead and get my feelings out there about it. I will say..it was better than last week. However I still have my problems with the overall outcome. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it.

-Kenny Omega vs. Brian Cage (w/ Lance Archer)

I don't exactly know the story behind this match.. or if this one was just a happy return match. Regardless, I thought this match was pretty good overall. Both men work wonderful together! In the end it was Kenny that got the win. However that didn't stop the beat down afterwards. This led Ospreay to come help, but both men were over taken by The Don Callis family. Could we be seeing a tag team or trios in the mix sooner than later within this group?

-Swerve Strickland/Ricochet

As much as I don't want to say it.. I am actually enjoying this feud. While I wasn't too sure or thrilled about it at first.. having Ricochet in this situation works! We've never been able to see Richochet like this, and to be honest.. it's fun and interesting. Ricochet did come to the ring but was over come with "booing".. this was until Nana came out to hit Richochet with a chair. Swerve followed and the two took it out of the ring and into the crowd. I have a feeling this overall feud will be pretty intense.

-The Hurt Syndicate vs. Private Party and Mark Briscoe

Nope. I didn't like this at all. First of all.. Private Party went through IT to get these titles and for them to have to defend this like this and within this story line is insane in the worst way. The match itself wasn't too good. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it just didn't click. But in the end, it was Hurt Syndicate got the win. PLEASE for the love of God don't take the titles off Private Party this soon. AT LEAST push it to Revolution in March.

-MJF/Jeff Jarrett Promo

I won't say much about this, but omg. I honestly don't know how to feel about this one.. it was intense for one. The two went back and forth with the insults.. crossing the line that is for sure. It wasn't until MJF made comments about Owen Hart.. that Jeff snapped. The two went at it until they were broken up. Overall... yikes.

-Christian Cage (w/ The Patriarchy) vs. Hook (w/ Katsuyori Shibata)

I've been waiting for this match and to be honest... I really enjoyed it. It wasn't just a simple match and it was one that took Hook to his limit. I do feel both Christian and Hook work very well together, and hope we can see it again sooner than later. However things took a turn when The Patriarchy got involved resulting in a DQ.. and the beat down started. The shock of the night was when Joe returned to help out his friends to end the segment! The group is back together!

-Women's Casino Gauntlet for Women's World Championship Opportunity

In this we saw:

  1. Kris Statlander
  2. Jamie Hayter
  3. Megan Bayne (FINALLY)
  4. Julia Hart
  5. Willow Nightingale
  6. Toni Storm
  7. Harley Cameron

I really liked this! And did anyone catch the AMAZING chemistry that Kris and Megan had in the ring.. please give me 20. Overall, this was really fun and interesting to say the least. But in the end.. it was Toni Storm that got the win! Hmmm and against Mariah May... this story line might be a good one after all.

- AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

I enjoyed it for the most part but something was just missing. I will say.. Hobbs did amazing and the match was intense. It took some time but Mox was able to get the win.. but not by pinning. I feel that is a bit important to point out. There was a after match beat down.. and FTR and Cope came to make the save. However.. it was a little late for that.

Overall: 7.8/10

=================================================

I love AEW and have since the start. I just wish there was a little MORE into the story lines. I am still holding on to it getting better...

UP NEXT: WWE Friday Night Smackdown

-Will we see The Wyatt Sicks FINALLY?
-Bayley vs Tiffy
-Will anyone else be transferred from Raw/Smackdown?
-Will The Street Profits return??

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...

WWE Friday Night Smackdown (April 11th) Rundown/Review

We are officially ONE WEEK away from Wrestlemania, and this one is going to be HUGE! I can't wait! We are going to talk a little bit about everything that has happened last night and then go straight into what I believe will happen next Sat and Sun! We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Nick kicks off Smackdown with Randy  We got both men face to face in this, and I won't lie.. it was pretty damn good. Can we please see these two go at it at Mania?? It's been teased for far too long, and it would for sure deliver. However, before it could go any further.. Solo and Tama made themselves known. I think I can speak for everyone when I tell you that the air left everyone's body. But thankfully it was a set up for a tag team match between Randy/LA vs Tama/Solo.. -Women's Gauntlet Match Overall.. we kind of knew who would win this. I will say it was pretty good and nice to see all these teams go at it. I will also mention, whatever this is with Maxx...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...
