WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown/Review

It just dawned on me that I never did my Smackdown Rundown... and I am so upset. Let's just say it was a busy and full weekend for me. Regardless, this week for wrestling is going to be HUGE.. so bare with me, as it will be ALOT! I think I will have a blog every single day from Saturday-Tuesday... I might even have two in one day. Saturday is TWO PPVs.. in Wrestlepalooza and AEW All Out.... I WILL be watching AEW first and LIVE so you can expect the tweets. I am unsure about watching Wrestlepalooza in real time due to AEW but I will be tweeting as best as possible when I do watch it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking off: John Cena We had a pretty dang good promo with Cena and talking about Brock... A good bit of this confused me.. seeing that Brock has only been on Smackdown and not Raw leading up to their match on Saturday. I wish there was a little more. With this.. this makes me believe the match itself isn't going to end clean and will m...

WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 14th) Rundown/Review

Last night was Monday Night Raw and it was taped from last week. The WWE is currently on tour in the UK.. which mainly seems to be Smackdown this time. They will be back in time for Friday Night Smackdown in Columbia, SC. We've got a lot to unpack, so let's get into it!

-We are on the road to Saudi! Crown Jewel will be Nov 2nd and things are really starting to heat up, card wise.

-Rhea Ripley kicked off Monday Night Raw this week and she was PISSED. She went right into it and called out Liv and Raquel! However.. we saw Tiffy come out and let Mami know that she shouldn't cross Nia anymore. BOLD on Tiffy's part, if you ask me. It wasn't long after that we saw a bit of a beat down from Liv/Raquel.. leaving them standing tall by the end. I don't know how I feel about that ending..

-WWE Women's Tag Team Title: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair vs. Damage CTRL

I wanted to love this match, but just couldn't get behind it fully. I love that we also saw NXT's Jakara and Lash Legend! The match itself was pretty good, much better that I thought going into it..but I wish we could have gone without the little interference.. but I can understand why. Of course Jade and Bianca took the win.. but this now leads to where they will go next? Could we see a rematch due to the interference? Or will Jade/Bianca set their eyes on Jakara/Lash Legend? That might be pretty good!

-Alpha Academy vs. The War Raiders

We got The War Raiders back! AHHHH! Please don't use them in the wrong way, I beg of you! The only thing I really didn't like was using the Alpha Academy as bait. While the Academy is very good and entertaining... you can't tell me that they had a huge chance going into this match. Of course, in the end we saw The War Raiders took the win and go to the next round in the No 1 contender tournament for the tag titles.

-Cody Rhodes and Gunther Promo

We saw these two face to face in the ring before their big match at Crown Jewel coming in almost two weeks! The two exchanged words, and things were a little heated as things progressed. We saw Gunther refusing a handshake with Cody at first.. but then wished luck and walked out to close it out. I feel like this really made things more serious than they were. There's a level of respect and honor that has seemed to go into this match and I really like that. They've been able to build a story without a major reason.. just champion vs champion. If you haven't seen this promo, you really should. I think it was very well done for both men.

-Kofi Kingston vs. Bron Breakker

Honestly, this match went on a lot longer than I thought it would. I thought the match was pretty good overall but going into it.. very predictable. After a huge Spear coming off the ropes.. Bron scored the win. We see afterwards Woods trying to make a save but was threatened by Bron. We did see Jey make the save and stood tall in the end. So we are for sure getting Jey vs Bron once again... hmm.. Please don't overwhelm this.

-R-Truth vs. The Miz

I don't think this match was needed, but I did enjoy it. I agree with what I had seen on Twitter that this was really just a situation of moving forward in the story line. The Final Testament arrived.. resulting in a bit of a distraction.. and that allowed Truth to steal the win. WHAT?! This threw me for a loop, and I loved it. Of course.. this ended in a beat down on Truth from AOP and the Miz delivering a Skull-Crushing Finale. We also saw a little Wyatt Sicks warning. If you want to see more about that, please go check out Twitter! BUT..it does look like the coordinates are located at Wells Fargo Center which is where they will be NEXT WEEK on Raw. This is also where Bray made his return at Extreme Rules in 2022. Ooo... this is going to be so good!

-Rhea Ripley and Tiffany Stratton vs. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

I thought this match was pretty good! I loved Rhea and Tiffy working together, I thought they did pretty well. What I didn't enjoy was Nia interfering and making it a disqualification. Hmm.. I would love to have seen this match in full and have seen a pin. We ALMOST saw a cash in situation with Tiffy and Liv.. but Dom was able to make the save. I kind of like this layout right now, because now you don't know what Tiffy will do. Will she swerve us all and cash in on Liv instead of Nia? Or will Nia always be her goal? Makes you wonder..does it?

Overall: 8.1/10

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*I'm not the only one that has been hearing references to Brock right? Is he really coming back??
*Will the Rhea/Liv saga come to an end before the Royal Rumble?
*Are we going to see the Wyatt Sicks next week? or another video?
*What other matches will be announced for Crown Jewel?
*What is next for The New Day.. and their celebration coming up next month? Is someone turning?

UP NEXT: AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite

*Things are REALLY heating up with AEW and I feel like this one isn't one you wanna miss.

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Rundown/Review

It's the Smackdown after Summer Slam.. and boy do we have a rundown for you. I don't know all what I expected from this, but it was a ride.. let me tell you.  **ALSO.. MAJOR THANK YOU to my 1,000 followers on Twitter! I made a post talking about how I really wanted to get 1k before the end of the month and y'all SHOWED OUT in a big way! It's so nice to have everyone, and I hope we can have a blast together!  Let's get into it! -Kicking off Smackdown: John Cena I really enjoyed this overall, but what I didn't like... was Logan Paul coming out. This wasn't on my "I want this match" list.. but it is what it is, I guess. It looks like we are getting the two at Clash in Paris later on in the month. We did see Drew McIntyre and Cody come into play, and the fact we are also getting a tag match later in the night.  -Motor City Machine Guns vs. JC Mateo and Talla Tonga Not happy. Solo made it clear that MFT was coming after the tag titles, which... we know ...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...
