WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown/Review

It just dawned on me that I never did my Smackdown Rundown... and I am so upset. Let's just say it was a busy and full weekend for me. Regardless, this week for wrestling is going to be HUGE.. so bare with me, as it will be ALOT! I think I will have a blog every single day from Saturday-Tuesday... I might even have two in one day. Saturday is TWO PPVs.. in Wrestlepalooza and AEW All Out.... I WILL be watching AEW first and LIVE so you can expect the tweets. I am unsure about watching Wrestlepalooza in real time due to AEW but I will be tweeting as best as possible when I do watch it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking off: John Cena We had a pretty dang good promo with Cena and talking about Brock... A good bit of this confused me.. seeing that Brock has only been on Smackdown and not Raw leading up to their match on Saturday. I wish there was a little more. With this.. this makes me believe the match itself isn't going to end clean and will m...

WWE Monday Night Raw (Sept 16th) Rundown/Review

Last night was a pretty good Raw (in my opinion) leading up to Bad Blood. We have almost 2 weeks until then, and things are getting pretty good. We've got a lot to unpack, so let's get into it!

-CM Punk opened the show, and was NOT happy. Punk sounded very raspy and upset (as he should be) and gave ONE HELL of a promo leading up to the Hell in a Cell match at BB. At one point, Punk said that despite his family being against the match.. he was ready to risk it all, he was ready to put his career on the line. I have a feeling this might be one of THE best HIC matches in a while.

-Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne

We saw another match with these two, and things are getting wild. This rivalry is getting real intense, real quick. The match itself was pretty good, however by the end.. things seemed this feud isn't going to end anytime soon. We saw Pete bring in the shillelagh, providing a bit of a distraction. And Sheamus ended up getting hit with the cricket bat right to the face.. allowing Pete to pick up the win. Oh.. this is FAR from over. These two can really put on one hell of a match.

-Natalya vs. Zoey Stark

Well... same match, different night. I am REALLY getting tired of the same matches that just don't give it all. This is one of those matches. I love Nattie and I like Zoey pretty good too.. it's just this isn't working like they want it to. In the end, Nattie picked up the win.

-Jey Uso and Bron Breakker Promo

This promo was AMAZING, gimme 12. These two went back and forth, face to face before their big match next week on Raw. Bron let everyone know he didn't need his family or his name for his sucess in the WWE. He also went on to say that he has done more in 6 months than Jey has done in 14 years. Woah. Jey wasn't gonna let that slide tho.. He told Bron that his run would be shorter than his NFL career.. which POPPED me like something serious. I wasn't expecting that. To end that segment we saw Jey dodge a spear and hit Bron with one of his own. Are we going to see a NEW champ next week? I am so torn.

-World Tag Team Championship Match: New Day vs. Judgment Day

I had to ask the other day who the tag champs were. If that says anything about the Judgement Day run thus far. I was wanting The New Day to win so bad.. but that just wasn't in the cards.. once again. The match itself was pretty good, besides the outside interference.. can we PLEASE get a match with the Judgement Day banned from ringside?? PLEASE!? On the outside we saw Dom/Carlito and LWO cause an brawl on the outside which led the ref to leave the ring for a moment. This cost Woods from getting the pin.. Moments later Finn got the win. OH BOY...

Later on, we saw a PISSED Woods lash out on Kofi backstage. I have this feeling that we aren't going to be getting Woods turn on Kofi.. but in a SHOCKING turn of events, we will see Kofi turn on Woods. Because at this moment, they are making it way too obvious that Woods would be the one turning.

-We got an AMAZING little video from Wyatt Sicks. If you haven't watched it, please do! And we got the return of QR codes! HELL YEAH! If you want to follow that, please go on Twitter and type in Uncle Howdy or Wyatt Sicks. You'll see all that information and everything that was found and solved. In basic terms.. they are talking to Braun. Not to attack, but to help. Hmm...I am loving where this is going.

-Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed

Okay, what the hell was even that! Any time these two get in the ring together it's INSANE, and this time.. they delivered. RIGHT out the gate, the top rope broke. Not only that, but outside the ring.. they broke the barrier. This continued into the back where they went through a wall! I would also like to point out, the match never started. So.. I can assume this feud will continue on. Regardless, this is one rematch situation that I actually enjoy. You honestly never know what will happen next and I love it.

-Sami Zayn Promo

I love some Sami Zayn. This guy knows how to do it all, and this new feud with Gunther is one of my favorites. Not only did we see Sami, but Ludwig as well. We saw what we thought could be a turn.. but Sami made some very good points about Ludwig and Gunther's relationship. In the end, we saw Gunther deny Sami another match.. resulting in a beat down. To end this segment Sami counter attacked Kaiser in the middle of the ring. Will this match be at Bad Blood? Or are they delaying for other reasons?

-Bianca Belair vs. Iyo Sky

Fabulous, give me 12 please. Where has this been in my entire life? This match was AMAZING and why they chose to have this on a Monday Night Raw is a mystery to me, honestly. I loved everything about this. It looks like we will be seeing a tag team match of these teams way sooner than later. Hopefully it will be good too! In the end we got (in a shocking turn of events) Iyo pinning Bianca! Didn't expect that shit!

-Damian Priest vs. Dominik Mysterio

After the last few weeks we (once again) got DP and Dom in a match in the main event. Some of those hits and shots were personal.. LOL but what a match! I thought it was pretty good overall and I was impressed. I thought the spot were Mami took out Morgan over the announce table was AMAZING and they even took out Wade. But in the end, DP got the win. That was short lived due to the beat down afterwards. This time it was Damian that took the main beating.. with the Judgement Day to remain on top.

What does this mean for their matches at Bad Blood? Are we going to see a title change? Will the Terror Twins stand tall in their matches? Only time will tell!

Overall: 8.4/10

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Up next we have Wednesday Night Dynamite! Things are getting serious as we have a HUGE month coming up for AEW.

-Matches are really coming together for not only Grand Slam.. but WrestleDream as well!
-We also have Dynamite's 5th Anniversary episode coming up too!
-Will Bryan Danielson return after being attacked and to confront Nigel or Mox?
-Britt Return? They will be in Pittsburgh sooner than later..
-Where is Mercedes Mone?
-Max deal coming soon?

*Almost 2 weeks until Bad Blood
*Almost 3 weeks until WrestleDream

Until next time

Chels

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Rundown/Review

It's the Smackdown after Summer Slam.. and boy do we have a rundown for you. I don't know all what I expected from this, but it was a ride.. let me tell you.  **ALSO.. MAJOR THANK YOU to my 1,000 followers on Twitter! I made a post talking about how I really wanted to get 1k before the end of the month and y'all SHOWED OUT in a big way! It's so nice to have everyone, and I hope we can have a blast together!  Let's get into it! -Kicking off Smackdown: John Cena I really enjoyed this overall, but what I didn't like... was Logan Paul coming out. This wasn't on my "I want this match" list.. but it is what it is, I guess. It looks like we are getting the two at Clash in Paris later on in the month. We did see Drew McIntyre and Cody come into play, and the fact we are also getting a tag match later in the night.  -Motor City Machine Guns vs. JC Mateo and Talla Tonga Not happy. Solo made it clear that MFT was coming after the tag titles, which... we know ...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...
