Summer Slam Predictions Night 1 and Night 2

ANDDDDDDDD I'm back after a small break, but however.. my little website revamp didn't happen as well as I thought it would. I did (FINALLY) change my name to Chels Wrestling on here.. as it is on my twitter. We've got ALOT to talk about, so let's get into it! -TONIGHT is the FINAL Smackdown before the 2 night Summer Slam and I fully expect this to be pretty good overall. The question is... how many titles will be really changing?? I FULLY expect Naomi and The Wyatts to retain.. but what about everyone else? Hmm.. they are saying that this is the "Wrestlemania of the Summer"...  I'll be LIVE tweeting as best as possible tonight, so stay tuned! Let's get into the predictions.. Let me also remind you that this is my personal opinion AND what I am hoping for... it's okay to disagree, friends. -NIGHT 1 -CM Punk vs Gunther (c) I feel like this match wasn't really hyped up, and that it was just put together. There is no other story than Punk winning...

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Season Premier on USA (Rundown)

What a time it was, with the premier of Friday Night Smackdown on USA Network. Things are heating up leading up to Bad Blood and this is one you don't want to miss. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!

-We kicked off Smackdown with a NEW song and intro! Now, in my personal opinion I don't like the song and don't feel like it goes with the intro, but it isn't the end of the world. The song is "Neva Play" by Megan The Stallion. I will admit, the video intro looks pretty dang cool. And of course, the new logo!

-Triple H opened the show and received a great POP from the Seattle crowd. He welcomed in the new era of Smackdown and the show began.

-The first match of the night was Cody Rhodes vs Solo in a steel cage match for the Undisputed Title. Once again, I don't know what I expected in this match but it wasn't this. I was pretty impressed than the other times Cody and Solo have shared the ring. I do see a small development in Solo, which is much needed. I was also shocked when Cody was busted open. Cody jumped from the top of the cage onto Solo, and I was a little worried that he missed his body and landed more on Solo's neck.. but I was mistaken. That could have been bad. It wasn't long until Cody got the pin, but the Bloodline came to attack. Things seemed pretty bleak as Cody was surrounded in the steel cage. That was until the music hit, and out comes the OTC Roman Reigns. I complained and wined about him for years, but I'll admit that I missed him... he came to whip some ass. And that he did.. Roman took everyone out, and before he was going to spear Solo, Fatu saved him. Tama and Loa went on the attack but was quickly taken out by Roman/Cody. At the end we saw a pretty tense standoff between the two.

-Michin vs. Piper Niven

Last week we saw Michin lose to Chelsea Green, and Michin wanted her revenge. She made sure to take out Green outside the ring and took out Piper with a senton from the ring apron. Michin then got a pretty quick win on Piper but was then take out after the match. I love this story line with these three, but this match was way too quick. I feel they just put them in the ring to say there was a women's match on the show.

-A-Town Down Under vs. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton

Everyone was wondering who KOs partner was going to be. KO brought out a local talent "Ricky" for his partner which made everyone very confused. KO did his best to put him over, but everyone was very confused. Over to the side, we saw the PA told KO his real partner arrived and ole Ricky received a stunner to get him out of the ring. Like clockwork, it was Randy Orton that came to the ring and received a beautiful welcome. I loved this match, these 4 work very well together and it's always fun. Not only that, but can we just admire the way Theory sells the stunner and RKO? Because I love it so much. In the end, KO and RKO got the win.

-Nia came out to give a short promo for her opponent for Bad Blood. It wasn't long before Bayley joined in and then Tiffy. Of course, Naomi joined in as well and we ended up in a tag team situation. It seems next week on Smackdown we will see the four in a tag team situation.. in which whomever gets pined will have to leave Smackdown for good. Hmm... is this a way to get Tiffy to Raw? Or maybe Naomi? Things will for sure be interesting.

-NOTE: We saw two strange situations backstage. The segment with Nick-- talking about Solo wanting a match they couldn't refuse, behind Nick was Pluto. Are we getting ready for the next Wyatt Sicks feud? Will they be making their way to Smackdown? The next situation was Bianca and Jade.. the women's tag team champs.. in their little promo, we saw Pluto behind them too. First thing I personally thought of was Alexa? In the journals, could this be the "door" that helps the Wyatt Sicks come to Smackdown. Nikki and Alexa for the titles??

-Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes

Both men are 2-2 with each other, and this makes match number 5. Of course, it did NOT disappoint! I can't get over how well these two work together, and if I am being honest I wouldn't mind them working TOGETHER in the future. I personally think they would make a great tag team.. if the story would allow it. Like always, in my opinion, it stole the show.. as it should. But in the end, it was Andrade that got the win over Hayes. It didn't take long until LA Knight's music hit and the crowd went crazy. LA gave a little promo and the match is set! I can't see LA losing any time soon but I know this match will be one for the books.

-End of the show

We saw Roman come to the ring and give his promo, and to sign the contract that Nick talked about earlier in the show. However it wasn't long until Cody came out as well. Before the two could go any further into an argument.. it was the Bloodline that interrupted. Both Cody and Roman were taken out by Tama and Loa but that didn't last long at all. In the end, we saw Roman sign the contract.. and then Cody. But.. Cody said he was done with the Bloodline. I guess not.

Now it seems it will be Cody/Roman vs Solo/Fatu at Bad Blood? Hmm.. this might be pretty good!

-Also a big reminder, I don't know if this will be something that continues but we had to go back and find the final moments of Smackdown. There was an over run, and we weren't ready. Lol!

Overall: 8.9/10

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have 3 weeks until Bad Blood and then the NEXT week we will have WrestleDream with AEW. Back again with the back to back PPVs.. I love it and hate it at the same time.

Up next: Monday Night Raw

-We have so much to get into coming up with a good bit of the Bad Blood matches already announced. Now will be the build up and the final matches confirmed.

-Will the Wyatt Sicks return to take out Chad and American Made? Or is that feud over? I am so torn but ready to see where things go. I know will we most likely get a VHS in some form.. due to the little graphic we received last week.

-Will we see The Terror Twins after their brutal beat down from The Judgement Day?

-Things heat up as we see The New Day in tag team action! Turn incoming?? Let's go!

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
