WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown/Review

It just dawned on me that I never did my Smackdown Rundown... and I am so upset. Let's just say it was a busy and full weekend for me. Regardless, this week for wrestling is going to be HUGE.. so bare with me, as it will be ALOT! I think I will have a blog every single day from Saturday-Tuesday... I might even have two in one day. Saturday is TWO PPVs.. in Wrestlepalooza and AEW All Out.... I WILL be watching AEW first and LIVE so you can expect the tweets. I am unsure about watching Wrestlepalooza in real time due to AEW but I will be tweeting as best as possible when I do watch it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking off: John Cena We had a pretty dang good promo with Cena and talking about Brock... A good bit of this confused me.. seeing that Brock has only been on Smackdown and not Raw leading up to their match on Saturday. I wish there was a little more. With this.. this makes me believe the match itself isn't going to end clean and will m...

AEW: All Out (Sept 7th) Rundown/Review

Okay, I don't think I have fully recovered from this just yet. This was insane. This was madness. I was not prepared for any of this when I started watching. I don't know exactly what I expected, but it sure wasn't this. AEW TORN THE HOUSE DOWN! We've got a lot to unpack, so get your cigarettes ready, because you might need one after this. Let's get into it!

-MJF vs Daniel Garcia

I wasn't expecting this match to start off the show, but I am pretty glad it did. This match was not only hard hitting, but gave the picture of two people that were out for BLOOD. You can see the tension and the determination to get the win. I thought this match was great! And honestly.. I couldn't decide who would win, but in my opinion I did think that Danny should win seeing this is his first PPV match back. However it just didn't end that way. In the end, we saw MJF hit a low blow behind the ref's back.. and got the win over Danny. I really didn't want it to end that way, but maybe it will continue? Only time will tell. After the match we saw MJF try and shake hands.. however that back fired and Danny gave him a low blow and spit in his face.

-The Young Bucks vs. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta (Tag Titles)

I thought this match was great, however I just couldn't get into it the way I wanted. We already know that the Bucks would retain.. the build up for this match wasn't something that was really showcased and in my opinion a glorified filler match. Don't get me wrong, these 4 men work AMAZING together and they put on a great show. However, in the end it WAS the Bucks that retained in a clean pin. My thoughts are.. if BCC didn't win.. who will be the ones to take everything from the EVP team? Hmm..

-Will Ospreay vs. Pac (International Title)

This match was so beautiful I could have died. I was on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE TIME. The exchange of these two was perfect, and the was they work together is poetic in the best way possible. These two men put on an instant classic that will be remembered until the end of time. Going into this match, I was very torn. I love Ospreay, but I do feel Pac deserves a singles run after everything he has done in AEW thus far. Regardless, both men should be proud of what they did on Saturday night. After an tense closing moments, we saw Will Ospreay pick up the win and retain his title. This match was going to be hard to top. Maybe sooner than later we can see more of these two men working together.

-Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander (STREET FIGHT)

These two ladies have been at it for awhile and tonight it came to a head. Again, I don't know what the hell I expected for this match, but it sure wasn't this. It didn't take long for the weapons to come into play, and these ladies let each other have it. Stat did the splits on thumb tacks, was hit with a bundle of light bulbs... and both ladies were even thrown off the stage into tables. Both Willow and Stat came to fight and it was intense to say the least. In the end, Stat used a chain on Willow to apply a submission, allowing her to win. After Willow has one the last few, I could understand this choice. Damn.. what a match.

-Okada vs. Cassidy vs. Takeshita vs. Briscoe (Continental Title)

I've never been so torn about a match in my life. I am very happy that we are seeing Okada defend his title, seeing that it hasn't been very much. I also don't care for multiple persons matches.. but this one was pretty good. However, while all men put their heart and souls into it.. I just felt that this was a set up to see Okada and Takeshita down the road for the title. Could Takeshita be the one to take it off of him? I wouldn't mind seeing him win a title. Overall this match was enjoyable, but in the end.. it was Okada that retained.

-Mercedes Moné vs. Hikaru Shida (TBS Title)

This match was impressive. I think I went into this looking at a glorified squash, which is silly considering how amazing Shida is overall. I was shocked when this match sparked my interest a few moments in. Such a great showcase of both of these ladies! There was a moment where Shida could have cost herself the match, but was against it at the last moment. This led Mone to capitalize and get the win. Does anyone else hate Mone's finisher? I just feel like she can't hit it right and it looks botched. Maybe I just don't understand the move itself. Now that we have that match in the books, who will be the next person to go for the TBS title??

-Bryan Danielson vs. Jack Perry (World Title)

Did anyone else have slight (major) panic when Danielson came out to The Final Countdown? For a few moments I thought this was it, and Perry was winner this title. However, that just isn't the case. I loved this match more than I thought I would. SUPER hard hitting and the story was told. Perry was able to show that side of "over confident" and you could see the frustration of Danielson get more and more. We saw the Bucks come out to attack when the ref was down, but that didn't last long seeing that Yuta and Claudio came to the rescue. In the end, we saw Danielson hit Jack with the knee one more time for the win. What a match, but that wasn't the end. Killswitch made himself known, and we saw a small reunion with Jack Perry.. interesting seeing the trademark that was revealed earlier in the year. We see Christian Cage make his way to the ring with his contract.. and I screamed "NOT THIS WAY" about 9 times. It didn't take long until we saw Mox, Yuta, Claudio, and Pac revealed themselves in front of Danielson. Christian Cage and his group backed up and left as this just wasn't their fight. This is where shit hit the fan.

We see the BCC enter the ring and Mox hugged Danielson once last time. It was then that Castagnoli took out Danielson! Pac held back Yuta (while this man was crying) while Mox put a PLASTIC BAG over Bryan's head. I WAS SCREAMING.. WHAT THE HELL. The crowd chanting "This is murder" threw me over the edge, because that wasn't on my bingo card for wrestling 2024. Yuta got me.. It was Yuta crying while being held back that almost made me mentally spiral. In the end, it was the doctors and Yuta that were attending to Danielson as the segment ended. What is happening.. why did this happen? I can't imagine was is next. Wednesday cannot get here fast enough.

-Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland (Lights Out Cage Match)

Now that we have witnessed one attempted murder, let's continue to the next shall we...
They couldn't wait for the cage to come out, these two went at it straight out of the gate. Hell, they even tried to cut each others heads off with the cage itself. Let this be a lesson to what is to come. Just note that before the cage came down, we saw Nana put as many weapons into the ring as possible.. and boy did he deliver. This match was INTENSE to say the least. We saw stapler spots.. which is a call back from previous matches, and also some "oh shit" moments. This comes in the form of both men being thrown on a center block.. with Hangman: he had a NASTY bloody scrape. Swerve.. I thought his back was broken. I am not even kidding, I jumped up in pure fear. At the very end.. and in one of the most INSANE moments I've ever witnessed.. we saw Hangman push a needle into Swerve's mouth before breaking a chair over his head. At the point, the ref stopped the match via KO and Page took the win. WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED. Again, whatever I THOUGHT was going to happen, simply... did not. This was madness. This was the most insane matches I've ever seen. Where do they go from here? Is the feud over.. because I honestly don't think either men can handle another match with each other. Like.. dead serious.. I don't they can physically, mentally do it.

Overall: 9.8/10

WHAT A FREAKIN PPV Y'ALL!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-What will come of Danny Garcia next? Will the feud with MJF continue?
-Who will be the next to come for the TBS title?
-Will Mox explain his actions?
-What is next for Hangman?
-Who will face Will Ospreay next?

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Rundown/Review

It's the Smackdown after Summer Slam.. and boy do we have a rundown for you. I don't know all what I expected from this, but it was a ride.. let me tell you.  **ALSO.. MAJOR THANK YOU to my 1,000 followers on Twitter! I made a post talking about how I really wanted to get 1k before the end of the month and y'all SHOWED OUT in a big way! It's so nice to have everyone, and I hope we can have a blast together!  Let's get into it! -Kicking off Smackdown: John Cena I really enjoyed this overall, but what I didn't like... was Logan Paul coming out. This wasn't on my "I want this match" list.. but it is what it is, I guess. It looks like we are getting the two at Clash in Paris later on in the month. We did see Drew McIntyre and Cody come into play, and the fact we are also getting a tag match later in the night.  -Motor City Machine Guns vs. JC Mateo and Talla Tonga Not happy. Solo made it clear that MFT was coming after the tag titles, which... we know ...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...
