Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...

WWE Summer Slam 2024 Rundown

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! WHAT A SUMMER SLAM! This one had to be one of THE best ones, and we have A LOT to unpack. So buckle up, friends.. let's get into it!

-Liv Morgan (c) vs Rhea Ripley

At first, I am not gonna lie.. it pissed me off. The in and out of the ring really was stupid, but I can understand the build up. Once the match started.. and fighting began, it was intense. You could feel the importance and the intensity of it all. I didn't think nothing of Dom taking the chair away from Mami at first.. because of course she couldn't win the title in a DQ situation. However, after we saw the distraction and chair spot.. we knew it was over. Liv retained the title with the assistance of Dom Dom. It wasn't over there, my friends. In the end, we saw a full turn with Dom kissing Liv and helping her up. You could see the shock and sadness in Mami's face after the match and as they left up the ramp. This... this my fiends will be a hell of a feud in the weeks/months to come. But where does this leave Dom? Are we being fooled once again?? A few moments later, we see a PISSED Damian in the back ready to fight. Dom Dom is in trouble.

Sami Zayn (c) vs Bron Breakker (Intercontinental Championship)

This match was pretty damn good! Very fast paced and hard hitting. On the main roster, Bron has done very good and for the most part really proven himself to be worthy of being there. As for Sami, his run thus far has been great and I have enjoyed seeing him shine. But it was just time.. Bron Breakker WON his title and the pop was great! I think that this will really seal the deal and that he will prove himself further. I am hoping the next feuds with Bron will be just as good. I am excited for him!

Logan Paul (c) vs LA Knight (US Championship)

I have been looking forward to this match since it simply hinted at it months ago. I am not fond of Logan's title run.. as there hasn't been a lot of title defenses or appearances from the champ. LA has busted his ass for this moment, and it was time. The match itself was pretty good, and a few close calls had me on the edge of my seat. We saw Logan do his best to cheat, and honestly.. I was SCREAMING at the tv. I was SURE that Logan was going to retain, and that place was going to go insane in the worst way. However, this just wasn't the cases. LA Knight got the win, and got his first championship on the main roster! My heart has been so happy ever sense. I cannot wait to see the feuds that will come out of this!

Bayley (c) vs Nia Jax (Women's Championship)

I honestly don't know what I expected going into this match. My mind has been set on Tiffy cashing in, and starting a feud with Nia. The match itself was pretty steady, and some of the spots were questionable in who would win. We saw Tiffy come out, and honestly... I was expecting something crazy. It SHOOK me when Nia won! I did not expect that at all! Does this set up for Nia/Tiffy down the line? I have a feeling it won't end well for Tiffy tho. Bayley has done amazing on this run, and I hope to see her in the mix of things again soon. Her character has been wonderful!

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

Who else LOVED Seth's outfit? I was fully expecting a crop top, but this outfit was wonderful! This match was just as hard hitting as I thought. It does however make me wonder if Punk was as healed as they said.. somethings seemed a little questionable in my opinion. We saw Seth pick up Punk's bracelet and put it on.. which caused some tense moments between Punk and Seth. We saw McIntyre did Punk with a low bow while Seth was down. In the end, Drew hit Punk with a Claymore, and Seth gave him the 1,2,3 for the win! WHAT A STORY! However, this makes me believe the story is not over... not only with Drew.. but now we for sure have Seth in the mix.

Damian Priest (c) vs Gunther (World Heavyweight Championship)

Y'ALL! This match was AMAZING! Give both men their flowers on this one. This match was hard hitting and you could tell the importance of it all. Both men worked their ass off, and it showed! Once again, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Gunther was even bleeding due to DPs chops. But once Finn showed up, I knew it was over. Regardless, I held on until the very end. Finn got involved multiple times during the match but the final came when he detracted DP enough for Gunther to get the sleeper on him. I do love that DP never tapped nor was pinned. I'm still pretty bitter.. but I know that Gunther will be an AMAZING champ. I am pretty hype to see Finn/DP.. as it has been a long time coming for the two.

Cody Rhodes (c) vs Solo Sikoa (Undisputed WWE Championship)

I was a little worried about this match, because honestly.. I didn't know what all to expect. The match started out pretty good. The match did last a little longer than I thought without any interference... but of course like clockwork.. it did happen. Once the bloodline got involved.. we saw Randy/KO even the odds. They both chased the bloodline out of the ring and away for Cody/Solo to continue. It wasn't until Jacob Fatu came about.. to do his best to help Solo. We saw Cody be put through a table.. and I really hope Jacob is okay.. he looked as he might have been hurt during that spot. Some say he was wearing a boot this morning, but nothing confirmed on an injury.

Shit hit the fan when we heard Roman Reign's music... THE POP WAS AMAZING. He came to the ring with a purpose, and took out Solo with a spear and superman punch. Cody/Roman exhcnaged a look, and it wasn't long until we saw Cody get the win!

WHAT A SHOW!

We have SOOOOOOOOO much to look forward to tomorrow on Monday Night Raw!

Overall: 9.3/10

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-How will Rhea/DP react after being betrayed by Finn/Dom? Are Finn/Liv actually working together? Does Dom know??

-The Wyatt Sicks make their in ring debut. What will come of Bo Dallas and Chad Gable?

-What will come of Seth/Drew/Punk?

I can't wait! Stayed tuned on Twitter for all updates!

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
