WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown

I'll tell you what.. I guess that tweet wasn't lying about Monday Night Raw...IYKYK. We've got A LOT to talk about.. and a crash out is on the horizon.    -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan came to the ring with Dom to give a promo, explaining her actions last week with Nikki Bella. In this, she also called out Iyo Sky.. and she wants another title shot. Iyo came to the ring as well, and it all but seemed like this was a story ready to kick off.  -Ivy Nile vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Asuka (Queen of the Ring) This match was SO much better than I thought it was going to be overall. I really had this match between two women, and that was Vaquer and Asuka. All women did wonderful, and work so well together. We did see Rhea come out and cost Raquel in return from Rhea's match. And in the end, it was Asuka that got the win! She will now face Alexa Bliss this Friday! That match.. should be very good. It will be interesting t...

WWE Monday Night Raw (Aug 5th) Rundown

Can we all agree that this Monday Night Raw was AMAZING?? Because holy cow...

I would have LOVED to have this out yesterday, but let's just be honest.. it was a wild day. Between taking my little one to the doctor at 8am and then heading out to the store.. I was exhausted beyond belief.

We have A LOT to unpack, so let's get into it!

-Gunther made his arrival as the NEW World Champ. While yes.. I am still bitter about this, I am still so proud and happy for Gunther.. his run will be amazing! However it wasn't long until Gunther was interrupted by Randy Orton. I KNEW this was coming! I mean, we all remember King of the Ring.. right?? The promo was given, and the match was accepted. It will be Gunther vs Randy Orton at Bash in Berlin! Let's freakin GOOOO! I know Randy will not win.. but the match is going to be amazing.

-Sheamus vs Ludwig Kaiser

I thought this match was very good, as both men have very good ring chemistry. I am hoping we are going to see a match at Bash in Berlin. Maybe a triple threat?? We saw Pete Dunne come in and try to interfere.. however it was dismissed by Sheamus. In the end, Shemaus got the win after a Brogue Kick. I can't wait to see where this goes leading up to another PLE.

-Damian Priest calls out Finn Balor

A pissed off (as he should) DP came to the ring to call out Finn. The promo was pretty straight to the point and things were ON FIRE. However, we didn't get a Finn coming out to the ring. We saw a video addressing DP, saying that he changed.. that he was wrong for costing him the match a year ago against Seth.. and introduced the "new" Judgement Day. The new Judgement Day included JD, Dom, Liv, Carlito, and Finn.

-Lyra Valkyria vs Shayna Baszler

Why? Why even have this match to begin with?? What's the purpose? Story line? Anyway.. the match had potential, but was ended in a DQ due to Sonya/Stark jumped Lyra. Very stupid move in my opinion. Lyra was beat down until Damage CTRL made the save. Still trying to figure the whole Damage CTRL thing out right now...

 -CM Punk Promo

Punk comes to the ring with such a wonderful ovation, even after his loss to Drew at Summer Slam. Just as Punk said he wanted a fight.. Seth Rollins came out! The two ALMOST went at it.  However it was Drew that interrupted, and cut a promo. It was wonderful! He came about in the crowd, unable to get Punks attention.. while Punk and Seth looked through each other. It wasn't until Drew brought up AJ and Larry that Punk was ready to go and made his way to Drew. In a shocking turn of events, Big Bronson Reed attacked Rollins. He delivered SIX Tsunamis to Rollins, making blood come out of his mouth. It was INSANE and I loved it! Bronson said he would make a name for himself.. in his own way, and boy did he deliver.

-The New Day vs AOP

This rivalry is never ending. I'm serious. We saw Kofi return to action with Woods.. this time they take on AOP. I thought this match was good, and I hope they end it fairly soon. I know this is setting it up for a turn within the New Day..  Later on in the match we thought Scarlett was going to interfere however it was Odyssey Jones that made his return taking out Kross from ringside. When I tell you the pop this man got.. Seriously, we saw this man get drafted like a year ago and then nothing. This distraction allowed Woods to pick up the win.

At one point backstage, Odyssey said he helped the New Day because Kofi told him they needed it. You could tell that Woods was not happy about it. Hmm.. the turn is coming closer and closer. Seriously.. within the month maybe.

-Awesome Truth vs A-Town Down Under

This match wasn't very good to me. I mean, I understand the story.. A-Town was embarrassed by The Miz/R-Truth at Summer Slam.. and of course that needed to be taken care of. However in the end, it was A-Town Down Under that got the win. You could tell Miz was upset, and there was a small hint of a turn. I really hope this isn't the case. There wasn't a notice of anything wrong with Theory/Waller.. as they have been teasing a turn on each other previously. I am a little confused as to what is happening. Are we going to be shocked when the turn actually happens??

 -Damian Priest vs JD McDonagh

This match was pretty good, and didn't give anything too much too soon. We could see the hurt and frustration in DP as he faced JD.. not liking him really since the beginning. This match was very physical and intense. However it wasn't long before Carlito, Dom, and Liv made themselves known before Finn attacked. This caused a DQ win for Damian. There was a little beat down until we saw Mami make herself known and making the save.. chasing off Dom and Liv. Afterwards, JD took a beating from Priest.. laying him out to close it. VERY GOOD story telling! I cannot wait to see what the Terror Twins do next!

-Iyo Sky vs Sonya Deville

Deville was originally slated to take on Kai, however she suffered a knee injury following an attack backstage.  This match was okay for the most part, but you already know.. I am very tired of the same match over and over again. In a shocking turn of events, we saw Iyo get the win. If I am not mistaken, this would be Deville's first match lost since coming back. I do believe we will see another match of this group next week.. Oh joy...

-Joe Gacy

A new (and final) VHS tape was revealed to be Joe this go around. Very haunting, and very good. You already know I am LOVING everything Wyatt Sicks.. and this was so good being the final VHS tape. What will this mean moving forward?

-The Wyatt Sicks vs American Made

Lemme just say, that this was one time where I watched this LIVE. Normally we are on DVR, but this was just a time we couldn't resist. The Wyatt Sicks made their entrance with "Shattered" and my heart BROKE. Not only that but seeing the rocking chair and the lantern killed me. I was in tears over this. Even after almost one year, losing Windham just doesn't feel real. This was a beautiful tribute and I know he would be so proud of this group. The match itself was pretty damn good. This match was beautiful and worth the wait. The best thing about this.. it wasn't a squash. This match was very competitive and didn't make it seem like it was one sided. In the end, it was The Wyatt Sicks that picked up the win. If you haven't seen this match, I think you should watch it right now. Very much worth every second.

At the end, we see The Wyatt Sicks join in the ring.. with Uncle Howdy coming to take his spot at the front with the lantern. I can't wait to see how this story continues.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall: 9.7/10

What will we see next week? And how will Smackdown follow up?

-What will the Terror Twins get into next week following the attack?
-Will Chad address Uncle Howdy after this match loss?
-More of a fall out with Woods/Kingston?
-Will CM Punk/Seth/Drew face each other again?

-Roman Reigns is scheduled for Smackdown.. what will he have to say?
-With Randy on Raw right now.. what's next for Cody Rhodes?
-Will Heyman return with Roman?
-How will Bayley take this loss from Nia?

There's SO MUCH going on.. and this is the first time I am pretty excited for Smackdown.

Up next... TONIGHT is Wednesday Night Dynamite! Stay tuned.. I will be tweeting tonight!

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...

WWE Friday Night Smackdown (April 11th) Rundown/Review

We are officially ONE WEEK away from Wrestlemania, and this one is going to be HUGE! I can't wait! We are going to talk a little bit about everything that has happened last night and then go straight into what I believe will happen next Sat and Sun! We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Nick kicks off Smackdown with Randy  We got both men face to face in this, and I won't lie.. it was pretty damn good. Can we please see these two go at it at Mania?? It's been teased for far too long, and it would for sure deliver. However, before it could go any further.. Solo and Tama made themselves known. I think I can speak for everyone when I tell you that the air left everyone's body. But thankfully it was a set up for a tag team match between Randy/LA vs Tama/Solo.. -Women's Gauntlet Match Overall.. we kind of knew who would win this. I will say it was pretty good and nice to see all these teams go at it. I will also mention, whatever this is with Maxx...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...
