Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...

WWE Friday Night Smackdown (Aug 9th) Rundown

Okay, now everyone knows that I haven't exactly been a fan of Smackdown recently. Not that it isn't good overall.. most of it just hasn't been my cup of tea. However, I was impressed this week with most of it. We have a lot to unpack coming out of Summer Slam.. so let's get into it!

-The show kicked off with Cody Rhodes coming out to the ring. It's always a warm welcome when he arrives.. which is great. During this time he talked about his next feud.. and who he will face at Bash in Berlin coming in at the end of the month. It wasn't long after that until Solo made himself known with the rest of the Bloodline. It does seem as well that Jacob is still out due to injury from Saturday. It was KO that made the save and to stand tall with Cody. In a crazy turn of events, we saw Cody offer Kevin a championship match at BIB. I thought that it would be Randy, but seeing that he will be facing Gunther.. I can understand. Regardless, that match is going to be GREAT!

-A-Town Down Under vs Street Profits

This match was to determine who would be facing the winners of the other tag team match (DIY vs Pretty Deadly) later on in the show. I thought this match was pretty solid and in the end we saw the Street Profits pick up the win. With Bobby gone, it seems we are getting new versions of the SP.. and I am loving it. I really hope they are pushed a little more. Also.. are we really getting a break up of A-Town Down Under? I still think it's coming.

-Jade Cargill vs Alba Fyre

This is where things get a little "eghh" for  me. I feel like the booking of the women's tag team titles are trash. If you are going to have an active champ lose quickly.. then why have her as a champ? Just change the titles over? I love the Unholy Union.. however since winning, their booking has been awful. It seems they are going to push out this championship run a little longer.. and we will be getting a 6 woman tag sooner than later. This comes from Blair and Naomi getting involved to help their own friends in the group. In the end, Jade picked up the win.

-LA Knight Promo

I am hype for this man. I am so happy and proud that he finally got his title win. This has been a long time coming.. and it comes well deserved. Did anyone also panic for a second when LA slipped off the top rope a bit? Lol! We got a little promo from LA for a celebration and to brag.. that was before Santos came out before his match.. and him and LA exchanged words.

-Andrade vs Santos Escobar

I thought these two worked very well together. However, I wasn't very happy with the interference.. There were a few, and I just felt they weren't needed. I can understand due to story line why they happened tho. So in the end, we saw Santos pick up the win. If I am not mistaken, this means that Santos will be the one next to face LA for the title. In the past, they have worked so well together.. so I can imagine that this will be very good.

-Pretty Deadly vs DIY

The winner of this match will be facing the Street Profits.. this will determine the Bloodlines next feud..This match really threw me for a loop. I wasn't expecting it.. this match was very good. I hope we are able to see more of it. In the end, we saw DIY pick up the win. I don't know if anyone else saw it, but the name plates for DIY are still on the title... Hmm... Does this mean anything?

The show came to an end with Solo/The Bloodline coming to the ring. Solo called him out.. and boy did he deliver. While it was about or less than 10 minutes (which is kind of a bummer).. Roman took out Tama and Loa before getting in the ring with Solo. After beating up Solo, we saw Roman pick the his ulafala but was attacked by the bloodline. Once again, Roman was able to take them out.. while Solo escaped with the necklace.. as he watched the beating from the top of the stage.

Things are heating up, y'all!

Overall: 8.1/10

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-Will Roman speak next week?
-Will we see Nia/Tiffy? Will there be a riff?
-Who will win the no1 contender match for the tag titles?
-Will Cody/KO start to feud as it builds for BIB?

Up next: Monday Night Raw... I am hearing that Rhea will be opening the show! Heckkk yes! I wonder what Mami and DP will have to say next. The Terror Twins are an a rampage. What about Uncle Howdy? The VHS tapes are over, and their first match is in the books? What's next for the Wyatt Sicks?

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
