Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...

WWE Monday Night Raw (July 22nd) Rundown

Maybe it's just that Summer Slam is right around the corner, maybe it's just because I am so excited all together but Monday Night Raw was IT tonight. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!

-The night kicked off with Gunther coming out to the ring to do a promo. I thought this was such a great way really push the "heel" aspect of the match. Gunther has been doing this so well, and it was a good way to continue from last week. DP did come to the ring and a fight broke out. Security came out and it was pretty great all together. After coming back from a break another fight broke out backstage during an interview with Jackie Redmond.

-No 1 Contender's Match: Ilja Dragunov vs Bron Breakker

I mean.. have we not seen this match like 100 times over the last month? Maybe it's just me.... or it just feels that way. The match itself was very hard hitting and I thought it was good overall. Later in the match Dragunov was dropped on the apron head first. We then see referee Daphaine call the match due to Ilja being unable to compete. This means that we will be seeing Bron vs Sami once again.. and being at Summer Slam.. I can for sure see Bron taking this W.

 -Lyra Valkyria vs Sonya Deville

Just being honest.. I didn't watch this match. I am really tired of the squash matches for the women. I also don't care for this trios in the form of Sonya/Zoey/Shayna. While it was competitive, it just wasn't it. I hope we see something better soon with these, because alone I think they can do great things.

Nikki Cross/Abby the Witch VHS

-This scared the crap out of me. While a little too short in my opinion, I thought it was very good! During this video we can hear Uncle Howdy tell Nikki to look at herself and that he had been the answer all along. At the end of the video, we hear the most blood curdling scream. I can't wait who we hear from next week!

-We have an in ring promo/situation from CM Punk/Drew issue.. Punk announced that he is cleared and ready to fight! It wasn't long until Drew made his way to the ring (very calm, btw).. While Punk was ready to fight, it was Drew who wasn't up for it at the time. Adam Pearce came out as well to announce that Drew was reinstated and did reveal that the two would face each other at Summer Slam. But... there was a twist! Almost immediately, we hear Seth's music and it's announced that Seth will in fact be the special guest referee!

-Xavier Woods, Tozawa, and Otis vs The Final Testament

This match wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I am loving both teams right now, and want them to be used more often. However later in the match Kross was able to use Xavier's emotions against him, delivering the Final prayer for the win. I feel there is so much more to this story line and I really hope the ending is good.

We knew this was going to be good. Right after the match The Creed Brothers and Chad Gable come to the ring to confront The Alpha Academy. Chad attempted to double down on the team. and offered once again his help to them after their loss. Otis stood up for everyone and denied. This led to a beat down from Chad and The Creed Brothers. Just as everything started to intensify.. the lights went out, music started, and The Wyatt Sicks appeared at the entrance.. all but Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas.

While the Creeds were outside the ring with chairs, it was Chad Gable left alone in the ring. As the camera pans up, we see Uncle Howdy in full in ring gear (for the first time).. and he delivers an Sister Abigail. THIS WAS AMAZING, Y'ALL! I am HYPE!  PLEASE let this be a match as Summer Slam..  PLEASE!

Before the match between Pete Dunne and Bronson reed, it was Sheamus took out both men. This has been doing on for weeks now, and I feel an official match will be announced soon.

Rhea Ripley had enough. It was after a backstage problem, Mami took Dom to the ring to settle things once and for all with Liv. However, while Liv (in the crowd) poured her soul out to Dom.. Dom let her have it, leaving Liv in tears. I can FOR SURE see a turn.. but how?? I feel like Dom will turn.. but the real turn will be Liv and Finn.

Zelina Vega vs Zoey Stark

This one had me at first. Last week we saw Vega basically have her arm broken.. and now she's in a match.
The match was okay, and I hope we can move this now. I was shocked however, to see that Vega got the win. However, I do feel we just might see the more often? Trios? or maybe tag team?

-Jey Uso/Sami Zayn vs The Judgement Day

Anyone else PUMPED about Jey and Sami tagging together again? Because I am LOVING it. While again I wasn't sure about this match.. the chemistry is AMAZING and the match was very good. All men work so well together.  In the end, Jey got the top rope slash (after Sami got JD with a Helluva Kick) getting the win. What's Mami and DP gonna say about this??

At the very end, Bron Breakker attacked Zayn from out of no where.. reminding him of the match coming up at Summer Slam.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coming up:

-Dynamite in Nashville (Blood and Guts)
-Friday Night Smackdown (pre-taped due to WWE being in Japan)
-What will Mami and DP have to say after the Judgement Day loss?
-Will Wyatt Sicks/Chad/Creed Brothers match be announced?

So much going on the next two weeks and I am HYPE!

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
