Summer Slam Night 1 AND Night 2 Results/Reaction/Review

Summer Slam has come and gone.. and BOY... did we have one hell of a time. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it!  Night 1: -Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed This kicking off was pretty good in my opinion. While I do think the match wasn't one to blow your mind... it was still pretty dang good overall. In the end, we did see Roman and Jey pick up the win. This isn't what I thought would happen, but it is understandable moving forward (esp after watching Monday Night Raw). -Judgment Day (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair -Women's Tag Titles This match was pretty solid over all. All women did wonderful together and I enjoyed it! I feel like this match had so much on it in the first place, and there were so many people getting their hopes up for a Liv pop up. Sadly, that did not happen. We however.. did see Alexa and Charlotte pick up the win to win the tag titles! I am so happy for both women and hope they do this story ri...

AEW: Blood and Guts (Dynamite) Rundown

AEW went to Nashville, TN this week for Blood and Guts! I wanted SO bad to go to this, but the tiny human comes first. We saw some ACTION this week and boy did AEW deliver. We have a lot to go over, so let's get into it!

-The show opened with Ospreay finding out that there was a knife in his tire, and then took off in a car with Marvez. I wonder who did that?? Hmm... Up next we have MJF coming to the ring.. however we do notice there is an item with a cloth on it on a table in the ring. New championship?

MJF gave a quick promo about Ospreay and roasting the crowd. He dropped the International Championship in the trash before revealing the NEW American Championship. It was beautiful and of course it was red, white, and blue. Cody would be proud. Lol! Of course there was a "celebration" with an American flag.. with MJFs face on it replacing the stars. Too funny. However, it wasn't long until Ospreay made his way in and attacked. It was then confirmed that at All In, it will be MJF vs Ospreay for the title. I am HERE FOR IT!

-Backstage we saw Christopher Daniels had been attacked by The Elite.. After using a trick coin, it was determined that The Elite would have the advantage going into Blood and Guts.

-Chris Jericho vs Minoru Suzuki

Once again, y'all know I don't care for the Learning Tree crap. However, anytime I can see Suzuki wrestle I am 100% in. I didn't care for the match over all.. the chopping of each other was insane to me, and if I am not mistaken, Chris was bleeding afterwards from the chest. Chris was able to win with the Judas Effect, but that didn't stop Suzuki as he hit a pile driver after the match. Of course, Chris had help in the form of Bill and Keith that attacked. It was then that Shibata made the save. Can we all just agree that Shibata is the best? I love him.

-Britt Baker vs Hikaru Shida

This was Bakers first match back since her return. I am not gonna lie, while I wanted this to be an AMAZING match.. I had to remember, it's been 10 months. The match wasn't perfect, and there was some rough patches.. but all together it was alright. I can't wait to see more in the weeks to come leading up to All In. DMD did score the win, however it wasn't long before the CEO made her way into frame. While Britt was a bit distracted by the CEO, she was attacked by Kamille! Kamille has been signed to AEW since February..and it's finally time for her arrival! She is a former NWA women's champion, and a dang good one. Kamille put Britt in a torture rack bomb.. while then the two women stood tall over Britt. Does this set up Jamie coming back?? Because right now it is two against one? Being this close to All In... it's possible! We are now ONE month away!

-Pac vs Boulder

This match was a pretty quick one, regardless of the size difference. The match didn't last but a couple of minutes, and gave Pac a little push of momentum leading up to All In. Will we be seeing Pac in a match? Didn't he win a title shot against MJF? Hopefully so..

-Mariah May vs Local Talent (Knoxville)

This was for sure a quick squash match to set up for Toni. As soon as the bell rang, May delivered a HELL of a running dropkick. She also used the hip attack and Storm Zero to score a quick win. Toni's music hit, and we fully expected to see the Champ herself come out. However, this was quickly revealed as a joke. However, that joke didn't last too long because Toni herself was behind May and they brawled for a few moments before being torn apart. This build up has been AMAZING and with one month to go... it can only get better from here. We've yet to hear Toni speak about this, so I am assuming we will hear from her next week finally.

A lot of people are talking about two squash matches during this. While I understand the frustration, they kind of have to when you have a match like Blood and Guts. However, I do feel it was with good intentions. Pac: to build up his momentum leading into All In and his potential title shot. May: to simply set up for Toni.

Blood and Guts:

This match was balls to the wall insane. Everything that I thought was going to happen, didn't... and something even crazier happened. The match started with Jack Perry and Darby Allin. They beat the shit out of each other and it was great, their chemistry is amazing honestly. The Elite has the advantage, so up next  it was Nick Jackson coming out. Up next after that was Mark Brisco, which I was HYPE to see. We did see a lot of weapons throughout this fight.. tacks, barbed wire, real scissors.. Good God. The scissors segment THREW ME and I was hollering. Towards the end, Hangman did not come out when his music hit. I think he was set to come out 2nd from last. I had originally thought him and Swerve were already fighting in the back. This was not the case, Hangman waited for Swerve to come out and he attacked him there. Hangman then beat the crap out of Swerve and hand cuffed him to the outside of the ring. Things got even more heated when Nick threatened to fire Page if he did not get in the ring. With Swerve still on the outside hand cuffed, they started the match anyway. Jeff Jarrett came out and helped Swerve get free and entered the cage. The crowd went WILD when Swerve and Hangman went at it. We saw some go through tables, but the most INSANE part for me was when Darby dropped from the cage ceiling onto Perry with a Coffin Drop. My husband thought that was pretty bad ass. After that Perry was cuffed to the cage and beaten the hell up with some kendo sticks. There was a pretty SICK chair shot that ended up pissing a lot of people off.. however insider reports said that his chair was marked and gimmicked. Darby went a little further with it and brought out a gas can and lighter.. he threatened to light Jack on fire if he didn't get a title shot and for The Elite to quit. Nick did agree to the title shot, and quit the match to save Perry from getting set of fire.

This match was insane. Probably one of the best they've had thus far. I can't imagine how they are all feeling this morning.

 Overall: 9.5/10

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We've got a pretty big week we are heading into. We are almost a week away from Summer Slam! I know that Friday Night Smackdown has been pre-taped due to the WWE Japan Summer Show. I've done my best to stay away from any kind of spoilers because of that.

Besides that we walk into the FINAL Monday Night Raw before Summer Slam.

-How will Liv react to Dom telling her off and making her cry?
-Will there be a Chad vs Uncle Howdy match at Summer Slam as expected?
-Will there be anymore attraction before CM Punk/Seth/Drew?
-How will Gunther and DP interact after their brawl last week?
-Will we see anymore VHS tapes? I think we still have yet to see Joe and Dex.

Only time will tell! This is going to be a fun week and I am going to do my best to Tweet and Blog as much as possible!

until next time

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
