WWE Friday Night Smackdown Rundown/Blog

Wrestling is so wild right now. Not only are we on the road to Summer Slam.. but not long after we have Forbidden Door with AEW. I think after that we have something monthly from BOTH AEW and WWE. So it's safe to say, it's going to be GOOD until the end of the year. I can't wait to see what all is in store. Dynamite was good this week as AEW is currently in a residency at Chicago. I haven't been blogging about AEW, and for the time being.. I am going to keep it like that. I might tweet every now and then tho, so don't worry. Lol! We've got ALOT to talk about with Smackdown.. so let's get into it! -At the start of Smackdown we did see a situation outside with a car wreck with Solo and his crew. -Charlotte Flair vs. Raquel Rodriguez We now know that we WILL see the team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss facing Raquel and Roxanne at Summer Slam for the Women's Tag Team Titles... so this match was just a bit of a taste of what is to come. I didn't care ...

WWE: Monday Night Raw (Uncle Howdy and Friends Return)

For over 70+ days, Uncle Howdy's return has been creeping upon us. This stems from the ending of Bray Wyatt's documentary, where Taylor Rountunda teased that Uncle Howdy would be coming back after the passing of his brother Windham.

I'm not going to lie, I have been pretty hype about this. The QR codes have been slowly telling a story that we never really saw coming. Creepy characters, missing people, and an story of being forgotten and being found again.

It wasn't until within the last few weeks, it was confirmed.. this return wasn't just Uncle Howdy. There would be guest with him. It was then revealed we would have multiple reveals and they would tie into The Firefly Funhouse.

In the most recent QR codes: there were pictures (unclear and distorted) of each person, in which leading to possible clues on who would be their first victim.

I won't lie, I didn't catch it at first. I can't recall which picture, but one revealed "you changed, you stopped saying thank you". It wasn't until I had saw a thread on twitter talking about how the first victim could be Chad Gable. But if you think about it, it totally made sense. Chad changed completely from how his charcter was. He is no longer nice, he does in fact... not say "thank you" anymore, and he basically turned his back on his "family".

Going into Raw, I think that is what everyone was waiting on. When Chad has his match, we were all waiting on it to happen. However, we DID see IT happen.. as Otis finally snapped on Chad. My husband Jordan was a little bummed out, which.. we kind of thought that it was a flop OR that the focus would be on maybe the judgement day or Jey Uso.

I don't know what I expected going into how the reveal was going to take place. However, I did NOT expect this.

The 3 way match was pretty good in my opinion. And we KNEW something was going to happen when we realized that they turned off the lights up front at the entrance. Not only that, but the camera angels were always away from that side too.

Jey Uso won the match (rightfully) and began to celebrate with the fireflies. However, we were still waiting to see what was to be revealed. I'm not gonna lie, I looked at my husband and said.. there is no way they just dooped us. Then... the lights went out.. in Fiend fashion. My heart... literally dropped.

With the lights out, and the fireflies making their selves know.. Shatter began to play, and we are shown the door. This brought back so many feelings. I was about to start crying, not even going to lie. The door opens and slowly but surely we are met with a woman creepy crawling her way to the lantern. It is then revealed that it is none other than Nikki Cross. As she stands, she points to the back. We then follow back to the back, where we are met with bodies stacked up (about 3) with another character standing there. It is revealed that this is none other than Rowan (Redbeard). After that, we go into gorilla position, where there has quite literally been a massacre. The whole area is trashed, smoke everywhere, titles are missing and broken, bodies everywhere, and sparks flying. I'm not gonna lie, it was CREEPY. We are shown our next character that is squatting on top of the boxes which is revealed to be Dexter Lumis. We head through the curtain to immediately be met with the next character which is revealed to be Joe Gacey. As we make our way through, we see more bodies, and one familiar one. It is none other than Chad Gable. He looks pretty messed up, and they made it a point to make his attack look purposeful. Panning up, we are met with our final character. Finally, we see Uncle Howdy. Seriously, he looks AMAZING. The hat (with the red circle), the dreads, the mask.. Moving forward we see Uncle Howdy meet each character throughout the way to the front. They all return to the door to meet Nikki... they are gathered together. Uncle Howdy retrieves the lantern, and announces "WE'RE HERE".

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This really took me by a surprise. I mean, I recall some of the QR codes saying it was going to be a massacre, but I didn't think they meant literally. I didn't exactly know what to expect overall, but this just blew whatever I had in mind.. completely out of the water. It was very well done, and I know Windham is so proud of Taylor for this.

I have previously heard (not confirmed) that this was the plan all along. That Uncle Howdy and Bray would be a team of sorts, and down the line (I want to say over the span of a year or less) the characters would be revealed. If that is true, that is wonderful!

With the sudden passing of Windham, the Wyatt Sicks is a beautiful tribute and continuation of his legacy. I know Taylor will do great at this new adventure.

From here.. where do you see the Wyatt Sicks going? Where will they show up next? And who will be their next victim?

Nikki Cross- Abby the Witch
Rowan (Redbeard)- Ramblin Rabbit
Joe Gacey- Huskus the Pig
Dexter Lumis- Mercy the Buzzard
Bo Dallas- Uncle Howdy

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown: The Crash Out

MANNNN.... I ain't even got it to start an intro. Let's just get into it.  -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: John Cena It wasn't long after Cena came out to address the crowd before we saw Punk come out. The two exchanged words, and it wasn't long until the match was made. We are running it back my friends for these two once again, and surprisingly... I am not mad at it. Only thing is.. Cena said he would have to come get it.. At Saudi. THE IRONY HURTS lol. Regardless, this should be pretty dang good. -AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable I enjoyed this match more than I thought I would to be honest.. both men work well together. I was also very impressed with Chad.. seeing that he had one hell of a weekend. I don't know if they will go forward really with a story line but it was good to see AJ win.   -Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Liv Morgan This is where the crash out is starting my friends. I don't know where in the hell this is going. I THINK I know, bu...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...
