WWE Monday Night Raw Rundown

I'll tell you what.. I guess that tweet wasn't lying about Monday Night Raw...IYKYK. We've got A LOT to talk about.. and a crash out is on the horizon.    -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan came to the ring with Dom to give a promo, explaining her actions last week with Nikki Bella. In this, she also called out Iyo Sky.. and she wants another title shot. Iyo came to the ring as well, and it all but seemed like this was a story ready to kick off.  -Ivy Nile vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Asuka (Queen of the Ring) This match was SO much better than I thought it was going to be overall. I really had this match between two women, and that was Vaquer and Asuka. All women did wonderful, and work so well together. We did see Rhea come out and cost Raquel in return from Rhea's match. And in the end, it was Asuka that got the win! She will now face Alexa Bliss this Friday! That match.. should be very good. It will be interesting t...

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite (June 26th Rundown)

I'm back! And if we are being honest I did not think I would be able to write this only one day after my eye surgery. Let's just say that this go round was WAY easier than the last. Regardless, I am healing and on my way to seeing better with no problems.

Yesterday was the FINAL Dynamite before Forbidden Door.. and it was AMAZING, so let's get into it!

-The show was opened with MJF coming out, and the crowd LOVED it. However it wasn't long before MJF was interrupted by non other than Daniel Garcia. I really enjoyed this promo, mainly because I felt it came so natural. There has seemed to be a little build over the last few weeks, and it has really pushed my interest. It seemed throughout the entire exchange it was kinda friendly, however you could for sure tell they weren't "friends". It honestly felt like it could go either way, at any moment. In the end, Max asked Danny if he wanted to have a match at All In (coming up in August), and before Danny could respond.. Will Ospreay came to the ring. Things went a little up from there when Will offered Danny a title shot next week. Of course, Daniel accepted. You could tell there was something there between MJF and Will.. does this start a war between the two? Are we setting things up for a hell of a match in the very near future? After all was said, MJF stormed to the back without saying anything. Oh... this is going to be so good.

-Shingo Takagi, Titan, and Hiromu Takahashi (LIJ) vs Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio

I am not very familiar with LIJ, so I didn't know what to expect overall with this match. I found it very good for the most part, but did not expect it to end like it did with there being a DQ. This seemed a bit out of character but I can understand not wanting to risk anything big especially a title match coming up. Naito (who is challenging Mox at Forbidden Door) came out to seemingly confront Mox which led to a brawl that ended up going off screen. I kinda felt this was lack luster leading up to such a match, but hopefully things will heat up.

Owen Hart Cup: Rey Fenix vs Jay White

I've said this before and I'll say it again.. I am not a fan of Jay White. I just don't like this while tag team/trios. I feel he could be better by himself. However, I'll admit he is on a pretty good hot streak. This match was pretty good. I loved quickness and hard hitting moves, I felt it really capitalized on the importance of this tournament. In the end, Jay White got a clean win and moves on to the next round.

Storm, May and Mina Shirakawa vs Saraya, Jay and Cameron

I was pretty happy with this match, overall. I love that we are seeing more of Saraya and hope that she is on tv more often. Only time will tell! In the match, we did see a little push of where the ending might be going with Toni Storm and her match against Mina on Sunday. May seemed to not be able to make up her mind most of the time, which of course made it a bit more tense. Since they just added Anna Jay to the group, I wonder if things will pick up and there will be more feuds after Forbidden Door. I would love to see that trios move to other competition. In the end, Mina did get the pin for the win. It wasn't until after and all the ladies went to celebrate that things fell apart. Mina tried to hit Toni with a champagne bottle, however she missed and hit May on accident. Toni Storm stayed with May, while Mina was made to leave the ring by the officials. Hmm, things are for sure getting real for this match. I am excited to see how this will plan out.

In the back, The Young Bucks did announce the wild card (for the Owen Hart tournament) will be someone of their choosing. This leads me to believe it could be Hangman Adam Page. It was said that his return could possibly be in early part of July, and it just so happens that match will be the 1st week of July.

Kyle O'Reilly vs Zack Sabre Jr.

I don't thing there are enough words for this match. I thought I was excited for Zack and Orange? Oh.. I still am, however this was a match I didn't think I needed. Both are known for their technical ability, and boy did they deliver. I really hope we are going to be seeing them again soon. It would be 100% a hell of a match. In the end, Sabre got the win. After the match, Orange came down to check on Kyle while Sabre and TMDK appeared to be ready to attack. However, in just the right time, Tomohiro Ishii came to the ring and stood tall next to Orange. Do you think we will see them tag soon? I hope so!

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland vs Gates of Agony

This match was truly a match of "can they work together". We also know that Gates of Agony are now bitter enemies of Swerve, as they turned on him after being a group together. I kinda new this was going to happen.. but Ospreay and Swerve worked very well together. That was... until they didn't. There was some miscommunication and things turned sour. While Swerve and Ospreay did take the win, we see things get down and dirty. After the match, Will snatched the world title out of Swerve's hand. Swerve kicked Will's knee out from under him before knocking him out with a swift kick to the face.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought this was a VERY good way to head towards Forbidden Door. There is so much happening and I feel the card is pretty stacked. The last I checked there are at least (I THINK) 12 matches? This includes the matches announced for Zero Hour on YouTube. I feel we might just might get some surprises.. Only time will tell.

What are YOUR thoughts on Forbidden Door?'

I'll be LIVE tweeting Sunday so be sure to follow along and let's chat!

xoxo,
Chels

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown (April 28th)

We've got one hell of a Monday Night Raw, and we've got a lot to talk about! Let's get into it! -Kicking off Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman I thought this was wonderful! The promo that Seth gave was AMAZING and really gave a glimpse of what is to come within this group and story. Of course, we did have Sami come out to get a little promo with Seth as well.. and it was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it very much! I still fully believe that this was a push into the direction of Sami joining Seth/Bron/Paul shortly down the road. And this will come in the form of turning on Jey Uso.. I think it's going to be one of the best storylines this year to be honest.  -Rhea vs Roxanne  Are we finally getting Roxanne on the main roster? I hope so! I enjoyed this match overall, but wish it didn't end in a DQ.. I would have loved to have a clean match between these two. It does however look we will get Rhea NOT going for the title again right now (which...

WWE Friday Night Smackdown (April 11th) Rundown/Review

We are officially ONE WEEK away from Wrestlemania, and this one is going to be HUGE! I can't wait! We are going to talk a little bit about everything that has happened last night and then go straight into what I believe will happen next Sat and Sun! We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Nick kicks off Smackdown with Randy  We got both men face to face in this, and I won't lie.. it was pretty damn good. Can we please see these two go at it at Mania?? It's been teased for far too long, and it would for sure deliver. However, before it could go any further.. Solo and Tama made themselves known. I think I can speak for everyone when I tell you that the air left everyone's body. But thankfully it was a set up for a tag team match between Randy/LA vs Tama/Solo.. -Women's Gauntlet Match Overall.. we kind of knew who would win this. I will say it was pretty good and nice to see all these teams go at it. I will also mention, whatever this is with Maxx...

WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix Rundown Blog

What a Monday Night Raw on Netflix before Money in the Bank on Saturday! This one had it's ups and downs, but.. we got through it. We've got a lot to talk about, so let's get into it! -Kicking Off: CM PUNK We saw a little promo talking about Money in the Bank.. seeing that his triple threat was the main event. It wasn't long until we saw Sami come out as well.. planting little seeds here and there for what could happen during said match.  -Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan I enjoyed this match very much, and of course it was nice to see Stephanie Vaquer join the main roster. Sadly, we knew the out come before the match even started. It was kind of obvious Ivy wouldn't be moving forward (even tho it would be nice to see her in such a match), but it was a toss up. While it COULD have been interesting if Liv was involved.. it was actually Stephanie that picked up the win. Looks like someone will be booking double duty...
